Bio
As long as I can remember, I've been writing and sharing stories. Writing and storytelling, whether it be a humorous poem composed in five minutes, or an epic fantasy told over several novels, brings meaning and joy to life.

Their Worm Shall Not Die
Sweat poured down Anja’s face and blinded her. She was following a passel of scroungers making their way along the riverbank. Or stumbling behind and attempting to not lose sight of the slowest in their ranks. Evidently, they were familiar with this makeshift path through the river brush, easily scooting over dead limbs and dodging precarious vines. She limped along, wiping away sweat and slapping away mosquitoes, while nearly being taken out by every obstacle.

Welcome, Spring
Dobri trudged along, the wind biting his cheeks. It taunted his eyes and blurred his vision. Beside him, his best friend, neighbor, and closest confidant Milka shielded her eyes from the wind driving tiny snow shards from every direction. Evergreen trees lined the path, rising like sentinels to greet them and usher them ahead. One benefit of the wind was that it had carved away the layers of snow hiding the path that would lead them back to the village and back to their homes.

The Green Light District
Anya rested her head against the traffic pole as she waited to cross the intersection. It was busy, primes zooming off to work in their spotless, plush sedans. Her hand gripped a vodka bottle, peeking out of a plain canvas bag slung over her shoulder. She pulled it forth, twisted off the cap with one hand while bringing it to her lips with the other. By now, she was numb to the sting as the liquid slid down her throat and burned her insides--that was the point, wasn’t it?

Jane Austen Receives an Offer of Marriage
Dear Friends, I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. As you are most aware I am sure, I have until most recently been employed at the local library. How many happy hours I have spent acquainting myself with books and newsworthy topics of the day. And how many interesting and unusual characters I have been exposed to in the most comedic of ways. I daresay, I am acquainted with every oddity in all of Fredericksburg. Even friends of no interest in reading or books have been known to send me photographs of unusual Fredericksburg natives to seek out if we were acquainted with one another.

Jane Austen Works at a Public Library
Dear Friends, Tonight, I find it most agreeable to share with you one of a most favorite of library stories, one that has been shared, and reshared upon many-a request, with friends who adore this tale above all others. This story has been long burning in my chest to be told in a more global fashion; I write it here for you now, as it should be saved for all posterity.
