The Littlest Pear
Once upon a time, there was a huge, magical pear tree. It's name was Ackblar. It had stood for many years, hiding away in the middle of The Shrouded Forest. The forest itself wasn't shrouded, at least not anymore. The people still called it that because of the mysterious things that happened in and around the forest.

The Special Pear Tree
There once was a little girl. She was the sweetest little girl ever. She was smart and funny and sassy. She loved to do ballet and read and draw. She was 7 and loved all living creatures. Cats were her favorite. Any kind of cat. House cats, jaguars, lions, tigers, if it was a cat, she loved it. Her name was Elly.

Family
I spent the first part of my life wishing for a home. More specifically, a family. I found out early that my parent was going to leave me. It hurt. I fell to the ground and cried. Don’t cry for me, this is actually a happy story. I didn’t stay crying for too long.

Ice
I was there, staring at the ice. I was wondering how anybody could not think it was beautiful. Some people were scared of it. Some people thought it was too dangerous. Some people thought that ice was only meant to cool your drink, and not fall from the sky or freeze a lake. Those people live in Florida.

The Lake
The lake had always been frozen. Ever since I was born. It sits about a mile out of town and is secluded in a small forest. The trees grew thick around it, leaving just enough room to get through the small path that led to it. If you didn't know the lake was there you might never find it.

The Rule
I tripped, fell and rolled all the way to the bottom of the hill. The hill had never seemed so tall, standing at the bottom, but falling down it seemed to last forever. The ground finally evened out and I stopped moving. I laid there for a few seconds, until I remembered why I was running.
