LONG CARDIGAN CASHMERE
The finest and longest fibres of this rare and precious cashmere are combed once a year from the bellies and throats of the Kashmir goats during the moulting season. These longer fibres are especially soft and cause less "pilling" when knitted into cashmere clothes such as long cardigans cashmere, cashmere sweaters, cashmere ponchos, cashmere scarves and cashmere shawls.
Cashmere scarves have always been favoured during winter to bring a comfortable and elegantly warm feel to any look, but this is something that you don't want during spring and summer. There's no need to wrap up, no need for your cashmere scarf or your hat and gloves. Your accessories are then stored away until such a time when the days start to get cold again.
Everything you need to know about Hermes scarves
Hermes silk scarves are one of their most recognized products throughout the world. The first of the kind was produced way back in 1928, but the success story of the product has not stopped since then, and has gone on progressing in leaps and bounds.
Jerry Fels and Curtis Freiler, Jerry's in-laws, came up with the idea for Curtis Jere, which was established in California in 1964. Renoir & Matisse, run by Fels and Freiler, produced costume jewellery before they became Curtis Jere. In 1963, a fire destroyed Renoir & Matisse; the two artists then made the decision to start anew in the decor industry. They gave their new company the name Artisan House and chose Curtis Jere as their pen name for the metal decor line. Their own personal objective for Jere? "Gallery-quality art for the masses" shall be produced.
