Just a simple Christian/techie/gamer that also goes by the musical artist name "JimJams" as well as "newbpcsir" on Twitch and YouTube. You could say I've got a thing for music, gaming, sci-fi, technology and writing stuff.
So far, I’ve been a big fan of my own Spotify playlist creations or Spotify’s own curated ones. Whether it would be for a genre of music, one of my favorite artists, my Christmas jams, or even ambient/instrument music for helping me focus at work.
I’ve seen this topic surface a few times in the past couple of years, especially now with the FSD (Full Self Driving) beta out for almost 2 weeks now. Zack & Jesse at Now You Know recently covered this as well on their recept “In Depth” video (linked above).
It’s been a very hot minute since I last played around with the Talk To Transformer interface demo using the InferKit AI-based text generator. So, I thought I would have fun with this once more.
“Good day” the automated voice said as Ranold approached his autonomous vehicle. The vehicle’s front camera and sensors identified him almost immediately from his smartwatch beaming his digital identification abroad. It always amazed Ranold how fast technology paced itself in the 2020s.
It's rather hard to fall asleep in this rather comfortable room Voltrex thought to himself as he was awoken yet again by the automated air system. With the latest in AI and machine learning algorithms, the air systems here keep rooms at precisely the temperature you desire. If there's any minute flex in the room's climate, the AI rather harshly adjusts the advanced HVAC to combat the effect so the room stays in suboptimal conditions.
After letting my thoughts and ideas settle in for a few days, I’ve decided to “come out with it”. Lots of love, lots of hate as well as some overall letdowns. Predictions for this event were definitely blown out of the water and, as a result, even conditioned me into an over-hyped state as I watched the live event.
What I mean by decentralized income For those familiar with the rise of various blockchain & cryptocurrency technologies, the term “decentralized” probably isn’t a new one. Instead of one central server controlled by one entity, you can now have multiple computers/servers with open-source software controlled by everyone. Since this is (somewhat) becoming the norm in the tech world, why not apply this to something we greatly depend on? Why not have multiple sources of income in lieu of one “central” stream of funds?
Where do I begin… Let’s start with the graphics. This is definitely a 2020 game and Microsoft isn’t afraid to flex is eye candy nor cloud computing muscles here. Now only can you fly literally anywhere in the world with the help of Bing’s 2PB (Yes, as in Petabytes) of map data and AI-powered map data processor to render this in 3D, but it can all be streamed to your local computer. Given, you need a decent internet connection and a much more decent gaming PC to handle the game… Nah, those are rookie details.
