REINCARNATION
It ended in darkness, but then it started there too. A mermaid’s purse, swaying through the water, along with my other siblings. The funny thing is, I can still remember parts of my old life but not enough to recall it fully. I used to have skin I think, but now I have a kind of scales.

Their Purpose
THEIR PURPOSE They shot rapid dogs in Chernobyl, to prevent the spread of radiation. That was in 1986, almost fifty years ago this year. If only they knew that it would happen again 45 years later, this time to the entire planet. The people only pacified because of the new vaccine, it had been issued only two years before the incident, and stopped sickness and death from radiation, their resistance to it grown stronger.

No axe to grind
CORA CHAPTER ONE Angela was one of the ones who died peacefully, in her sleep. She was the latest to fall. She was only twelve. She didn’t stand a chance, but at least she didn’t go crying in pain like the others. Timothy, who died at seven, came back from above a changed person. He wasn’t that happy go lucky boy that left us, rather full of wrath. In the end, it was Kane who had to subjugate him, killing him just using his own strength. Having to sit on him to stop him from losing control. Even now, I see Kane kneeling at the patch where he killed him. He still can’t talk about what happened.
