Steamdeck 2-Week Review
Recently, I got my Steamdeck console shipped to my house after waiting for almost a year. I was so excited that I waited in the mailroom for the mailman to come in, so I got the package before it was even checked in. I couldn't wait to play PC games on a handheld, which would also allow me to focus more on my online classes by deleting addicting games from the PC itself. So far, I've messed around and enjoyed it a lot, so I want you all to know how it really is, either before you get yours or before you decide to start saving the equivalent of hundreds of USD to get one in 2023.

The Owls are Dead

A Journey to the Center of Rest
"Oh, I'm bad at relaxing." A common refrain of my 12-year-old self whenever the subject came up. This was often in the context of my martial arts training, where control over the tension and relaxation of muscles is paramount in executing proper techniques. I took martial arts practice very seriously, especially once I started competing, so this issue was one of my biggest obstacles.

An Ode to Mechanical Beauty
I saw it for the first time on my way to the factory. I had just looked up from my pocket watch to gaze upon the gardens, as I always did. There weren't many plants anymore, but some were trying to revive the population. All the smoke in the air around us did not help the plants, it seemed. Yet, plants were always so pretty, so I looked at them no matter how weird others thought it was. However, this time I saw something even more beautiful than the blooming chrysanthemums and the bright green palm tree leaves. Something that stopped me in my tracks.
