Original 'Death Note' Creators Reportedly Loved the Netflix Adaptation
The American adaptation of Death Note has long been the object of much public ire. Since its announcement in 2009, and Nat Wolffâs controversial casting as Light in 2015, the project has been plagued with numerous production problems â constantly changing directors, the persistent whitewashing of otherwise Asian roles, the massive delays (in production and casting), and every astronomical revision made to the characters and the plot. With only a few weeks left until release, the film seems doomed for critical and box office failure.

The Original âBack to the Futureâ Screenplay Confirms George McFly Did Know About Martyâs Time Traveling
In a deleted scene at the very end of Back to the Future we find Martyâs father, George, in 1985, at his desk looking through a digital scrapbook created by Dr. Emmett Brown. He plugs it in and stops at a page showing a 1955 newspaper clipping with the headline, âPolice Quell Near Riot At School Dance.â It shows a photograph of Marty on stage, rocking out to Chuck Berryâs "Johnny B. Goode" and, originally, Bill Haleyâs "Rock Around The Clock."

Unlocking the Iron Fist: The Real-World Science Behind a Powerful Punch
âI am the Iron Fist. I hold back the storm when nothing else can.ââ Danny Rand The worldâs strongest punch requires the least muscle pullback, movement, or physical strain â instead of simply tossing a jab by flinging your fist forward, a powerful punch involves throwing your entire body against your target, relying on the full force of it to break boards with ease, or send opponents flying.

'Riverdale' Just Released These Throwback Photos of the Gang in Their Classic Attire
Oh, sugar sugar! Riverdale has finally done it! After six episodes of watching the #Archie characters trying to fit into their 2010s modern-day clothes, #CW finally worked up the passion and inner nostalgia to dress and spruce them up in their classic Archie comics duds (obviously as fan service, but hey, not like anyoneâs complaining).

Rolling has long been a staple of both the action and hack-and-slash genres. Whether itâs to avoid enemies, or survive otherwise impossible boss fights, âstopping, dropping, and rollingâ has proven itself time and again to be the most effective tactic against both fire and your prototypical H&S opponent.

Creators.co, In Memoriam: Live âOnâ And Prosper
26 October 2017 To say I am devastated is an understatement. I am still in complete shock. I've already formed a bond with these beautiful people (and the company at large) in the few months I've spent working here, and I genuinely can't imagine having to move on to something else. At least not this quickly. This news came out of left field for me. I'm absolutely heartbroken.

âA F*cking Bootcampâ: Nightwingâs Solo Film Will Be Mostly Stuntwork, With Little CGI - Says Director Chris McKay
The best thing about the Bat family is the same thing many claim to be its biggest weakness: the groupâs humanity and obvious lack of superpowered abilities. While the rest of the Justice League gets by with the help of cosmic rings, world-leveling alien superpowers, metahuman abilities, cybernetic body parts, magic, and divine pedigree, Bruce Wayne, Batgirl, and the Robins get by on human effort, luck, extraordinary diligence, willpower, observation, and mortal intuition. And so far they have performed beyond expectations. Not just performed, even led their own teams â from the Teen #Titans to the Justice League. Richard Grayson â otherwise known as the first Robin, Bruceâs temporary stand-in, and BlĂŒdhavenâs resident Nightwing â is no different.

A Lovable Menace: Why Goku Is Easily The Most Unreliable Hero In The 'Dragon Ball' Universe
#SonGoku is the #shounen genre's version of Usagi Tsukino â a classic figure in modern-day storytelling, representing an archetype that appeals most to the flawed, human everyman in all of us. And like the common man, despite being much-revered as a hero, #Goku â as a person â is far from perfect.
