Aspark Co.Ltd, a Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer, has made headlines around the world by breaking two Guinness World Records with their superfast electric car called the Owl EV Hypercar [1]. Driven by Italian driver Giuseppe Cartia, the car reached a speed of 309.027 kph (192.020 mph) for an eight-mile stretch and 318.857 kph (198.128 mph) for a quarter-mile, setting world records for the fastest average speed over an eighth mile and quarter mile by an electric car. This achievement is a significant milestone for the electric vehicle industry, which has been striving to break the barriers of traditional combustion engine cars.
