The Fall of Bleach: An Opinion From a Former Fan
Like anyone who was, at one point, a reader of Shonen Jump — before they went digital — I used to be a fan of the manga/anime, Bleach. It wasn't my favorite manga of all time, but it was definitely one of my top favorites, due in part to the character designs, the intriguing set-up, and of course, the kickass action scenes.

Mass Defective or Not? In Defense of Mass Effect: Andromeda
Mass Effect: Andromeda. So many Youtube videos I've watched and posts I've read online have gone to town on the game, most of the criticism being aimed at wonky character models and animations, while some have also been critical of the story and the characters not being as good as the characters from the previous trilogy. And while I can't say that some of their points aren't valid, I do feel that some of the players were a bit harder on the game than it needed to be, and in fact, I feel like their overabundance of criticism and the response that Bioware had—to put the game on the shelf rather than doing anything else—was the wrong reaction. It wasn't wrong that they disliked the game, no—they have every right to. But, I feel that maybe their expectations were a bit too high going into it, and that these high expectations led to the game falling apart.

The Fall of Spongebob Squarepants: An Opinion From a Former Fan
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Well, for a time, I did, alongside Spongebob and his cast of underwater weirdos — and dang, did I ever love being down there. I said before that for a time, I enjoyed watching Spongebob Squarepants, and I meant it — that show was one of the few 'new age' cartoons on Nickelodeon that I loved watching on TV when it first aired, because it was new, exciting, crazy, and most of all, funny.

Steven Universe: One of the Best Cartoons of the 2010's
Being born in 1991, I grew up on a lot of what many in my age group would consider to be 'classic' cartoons on Nickelodeon: Rugrats, Catdog, Angry Beavers, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. Add onto those other classics, like Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, and Animaniacs, and you have a good sense of the cartoons I grew up with.
