Is It Time For The Prequels To Get A CGI Facelift?
Just shy of twenty-three years ago, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace saw its theatrical release. Two years prior to that the original trilogy saw the release of a special edition with added visual effects, reworked scenes, and the enhancement of the much degraded original master. A New Hope was released in 1977 thirty years before the special edition came out. We are now closing in on thirty years since The Phantom Menace's release, it might be time for a special edition of the prequel trilogy. Given some of the dated effects, as well as the fact that some of the actors are already working on Disney projects, some key editing could improve them if the company was willing to try and correct some of the errors made in the prequels.

How Kylo Ren REALLY Felt About Darth Vader
“I will finish, what you started” Those were the words that Kylo Ren muttered to the mask of Darth Vader as he knelt before it, hoping to hear the voice of his grandfather once again. However, while the movies themselves did not go into this too much, it does make one wonder what Ben Solo thinks of Darth Vader. Did he know the whole story? Was he told something else?

Why A Jar Jar Binks Disney+ Show Is Long Overdue
With Obi-Wan Kenobi debuting on Disney+ in just under a month and shows like Andor (with Diego Luna reprising the role of Cassian Andor), Ahsoka, and Rogue Squadron being made, I felt a little sorry for everyone’s least favorite Gungan. While it may be a bit of a stretch, I feel a Jar Jar Binks Disney+ show is long overdue. Before you get all riled up and trash talk the idea, let me explain my reasons.

Anakin's Most Impressive Kill Was A Blink-And-You-Miss-It Moment
Battles across the galaxy were still raging on. Palpatine had just implemented Order 66, causing Jedi to fall at the hands of once-loyal clone troopers. Anakin Skywalker had completely succumbed to the twisted machinations of Palpatine, who had expertly bent the once-promising young Jedi into the next Sith Lord Darth Vader. One would be forgiven for missing one of Vader’s quickest kills. It was an encounter against one of the Jedi Order’s greatest warriors.

A History Of The Ones Who Resided In The Realm Of Mortis
You may recognize the mural above as a detail from the final season of Star Wars Rebels. The show didn't delve into the lore or do much explaining about who the beings were, but that doesn't make them an insignificant piece. Referring to anything in Star Wars as simply “The Ones” can sound a bit confusing, mysterious, or downright boring. Let me assure you, they are anything but.

Why 'Star Wars' Should Embrace Animated Series Over Live-Action
Star Wars has blessed fans with more than a few animated shows over the years, and while they were advertised more for younger audiences, adult fans found that they enjoyed the animated series just as much. For example, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which began in 2008, never shied away from adult topics through the entire 7 seasons. In fact, the last season that finally aired in 2020 seemed to be made specifically for older viewers. The Star Wars franchise is generally always met with high approval for their animated shows and movies, while the live-action films and series tend to have a rocky start.

New Promotional Art For ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Series Revealed By Lucasfilm
With May the 4th drawing ever closer, the slow drip of images from the Kenobi original series on Disney+ is bound to increase. Today was no exception as Lucasfilm has released a new promo image for the show. Everyone who is waiting with bated breath for the new series is going nuts on Twitter, as the image shows the Jedi Master and his former apprentice, now Sith Lord, Darth Vader facing opposite directions with an image of what appears to be the two of them fighting between them.

Amy Hennig Returns For A New 'Star Wars' Video Game
The realm of video games continues to expand within the galaxy far, far away, and it seems like old friends are returning. The Hollywood Reporter and Star Wars.com have confirmed that Amy Hennig has directly made a deal with Lucasfilm to develop a new Star Wars game. It is a return of someone we thought would never ever have a chance to make a Star Wars game, but now the return has come.

Why 'Star Wars Galaxy Of Adventures' Is Underrated
In a Star Wars Galaxy, every day can be an adventure. I recently sat down to watch Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, the animated YouTube Short series released by Disney in late 2018. The animated mini-series is a culmination of what made the original Clone Wars, and the sequel series, Star Wars Resistance, so great and it wasn’t afraid to give us a few original tales in our already beautiful galaxy.

Why 'Phineas And Ferb: Star Wars' Is Enjoyable For Adults Too
In the mid-2000s, George Lucas began to take on a more relaxed approach when it came to parodies and spoofs of his saga. He not only endorsed them but also collaborated with the writers and producers. Sometimes, he even participated in their works. This led to Seth Green’s Robot Chicken Star Wars trilogy, Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy spoof of the original trilogy, and the still unreleased Star Wars Detours. The former two contained a rather adult kind of humor that were not necessarily suited for the eyes and ears of younglings. The LEGO Star Wars animated movies and shorts, which started to appear around the same time, were more targeted towards this demographic, as was Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars, first released on July 26, 2014 on Disney Channel.
