The Cavaliers’ Bench Mob is Better than Your Starting Lineup
This week, the Cleveland Cavaliers made their acquisitions of Andrew Bogut and Deron Williams official. Williams even made his debut with the Cavaliers, in a heartbreaking, riveting, and overall entertaining playoff-level intensity game against the Celtics. With these two acquisitions (both former Dallas Mavericks), the reigning NBA Champions have put in a serious bid for a repeat. With the recent news of a Kevin Durant knee injury, the Cavaliers’ title chances may have increased even more. Rival NBA GM’s could be a little disappointed for standing pat at the trade deadline with Durant out.

(Rational) Hype for the NBA’s Christmas Day Games
The NBA season is coming…in two and a half months. The full NBA regular season schedule will be revealed very soon. Earlier this week, ESPN and Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Sacramento Kings’ interest in hiring an executive above Vlade Divac. Divac is the Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager of the Kings. He has constantly been criticized and ridiculed for several of the Kings’ roster moves. These include the Nik Stauskas trade and the DeMarcus Cousins deal, most notably. Divac has the reputation of being one of the nicest guys in basketball.

The World Is Waiting for a Carmelo Anthony Trade
We are about to enter the NBA offseason lull period. Most of free agency’s dominoes have already fallen, and the hottest acquisitions have been officially announced. As we hit the middle of July, the last piece of the expected offseason madness is Carmelo Anthony’s 2017–2018 team. ESPN’s The Jump has “Melo Watch” entering Day 15.
