Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX Review
It is easy to feel sorry Alex Kidd. Nintendo continued to push forward with their dungareed mascot in the 80s and released Super Mario Bros 1985. This game changed the way we saw side scrolling platformers forever. Sega was not to be outdone and introduced Alex Kidd's Miracle World in 1986. Alex Kidd wouldn't be 'Sega Mario' despite having six games released over four years. Sega changed tactics in 1991, releasing Sonic the Hedgehog. The Kidd was never seen again. Until now.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Review
Dungeons and Dragons' world is full of monsters and mysterious treasures. The worlds described in the tabletop RPG's player guide books are home to some the most dangerous and fearsome creatures in high fantasy, including the sharp-toothed Goblins and the giant Frost Giants. Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance will let you battle hordes monsters as one the four legendary heroes. This game is not like the tabletop and is more about the action rather than the strategy.

Chivalry 2 Review
Online multiplayer shooters are so popular that you would think that online melee combat games would be equally popular. But that is not the case. There is very little to choose from, aside from Mordhau. Console players are also left out, as Mordhau can only be played on PC. Chivalry 2 offers excellent melee combat with very few issues.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors Review
There is a lot of potential in the action tactics sub-genre. This sub-genre of strategy gaming can create tension in a dynamic and changing real-time environment while also emphasizing teamwork to overcome the unknown. Ironward's refined sequel, Red Solstice 2 Survivors, succeeds in energizing action tactics sub-genre.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector Review
Despite Games Workshop's Warhammer franchise being a huge success, many video games from the science-fantasy and fantasy versions of Warhammer failed to achieve breakthrough status. While only a few adaptations have been able to make Warhammer a timeless franchise, there is no sign that the franchise will slow down its efforts to reach that goal. Black Lab Games' Warhammer 40,000 Battlesector will be one of those success stories and help to establish the franchise's legacy.

F1 2021 Review
The F1 series has been relatively stable over the past decade, but things have changed a little since EA acquired Codemasters last years. Fears that the new publisher will ruin the experience are not valid. F1 2021 is basically the same game as the predecessors, with the exception of one mode, some refinements and a few microtransactions.

Cris Tales Review
Cris Tales identifies itself as a JRPG. It draws on the best structural, narrative and gameplay elements of heavy hitters such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Persona. Cris Tales is less like a game than it should be, thanks to the number-popping attacks and turn-based systems.

Samurai Warriors 5 Review
One of the most powerful power fantasies in video games is to dress up as a samurai and play it. There are many award-winning games that allow you to play as a fictional character set in historical settings. But what about being a legendary, historical, and legendary samurai? All while engaging in dramatic shonen rivalries?

Fuga: Melodies of Steel Review
Many games make it clear that war is hell. The Banner Saga, a game that puts themes like loss and the visceral horrors on the battlefield front-and-center, creates compelling narratives that strike an emotional chord. CyberConnect2's Fuga: Melodies of Steel puts this idea in a new light by putting you in the shoes of displaced children.

Carrier Commander 2 Review
MicroProse is back in 2019 with a host of new strategy and simulation-lite games. Highfleet was a solid return to form for the dormant publisher and showed exactly the required potential for creative game design in the current franchise and license-dominated strategy market. Geometa's Carrier Command 2 can bring back fond memories of the original and MicroProse's promise to return. Can this start a revolution?

Foreclosed Review
If a certain larger game from the cyberpunk subgenre didn't do it for you, or if you're looking to immerse yourself in a similar world with a smaller scale experience, then FORECLOSED may grab your attention. I was immediately drawn to the trailer's visual style and promise of a narrative-driven adventure that combines gunplay, stealth and hacking with a bit of grit. What substance lies beneath the futuristic lights?

Greak: Memories of Azur Review
Some of the best indies of the last decade have utilized the notion of a player controlling multiple characters in tandem as their key mechanic. There have been many solid entries to single-player cooperative games, from Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons to Trine. Greak: Memories of Azur is proud to join these titles with a similar premise, and enough charm to be successful on its own terms.
