Talking Poetry And Art With Aly At Vicenzos

Introduction

This was a second catch-up with Aly Smith at Vicenzo's. This was the Facebook invite. These are weekly meetings to discuss art and writing and to catch up with a fellow Vocal Creator. Not many of us get to meet other Vocal Creators in person.

This was our last get-together

So What Happened?

This time I took my pencils and drawing pad along, and though I feel I can't draw, I can doodle, and Aly was very encouraging. We shared coffee and offered each other advice and told stories of our experiences.

Unfortunately, Mick and Viv could not make it, but they will be here next week with another person I have not met.

I know this is just a basic diary entry, but if you can meet up in person with another creator, I believe it can help you to pursue your goals.

The picture above is the first doodle I have done in a long time, and, as you can see, it gave me a reason to write this.

I don't know if I will cover other get-togethers, but if something comes out of them, I will share.
