Mona Lisa painting
Few works of art in human history have captured the imagination of the world quite like the Mona Lisa. Painted by the legendary Italian polymath Leonardo da Vinci during the height of the Renaissance, this iconic portrait continues to fascinate scholars, artists, and admirers centuries after its creation. Its enduring appeal lies not only in its technical brilliance but also in the mystery and subtlety that surround it, making it one of the most studied and celebrated paintings ever produced.

Best Artwork by Tamara De Lempicka
Polish artist Tamara de Lempicka was an Art Deco artist best known for her glamorous portraits from the 1920s and 1930s. Created in 1946, Amethyst shows the artist having moved away from Art Deco forms to still lifes and portraits of young women with more classical and rounded faces. In this artwork, a partially nude woman is playing a guitar against a backdrop of a sky streaked with purple and a still body of water. De Lempicka was living in her country home in Connecticut at this time.

Introduction I follow The Reiki Cat Lady on Facebook as they share some wonderful feline artwork and this lovely funny one caught my eye to inspire a story. They remind me of my friends Cherri and Amanda's and my daughter Juliet's cats that know where all the treats are hidden, in the kitchen.
