But when one of her most prized possessions, an unpublished manuscript, disappeared without a trace, she knew something was terribly wrong. She lived alone in her countryside estate, with only a few trusted staff members. The doors were always locked, and there was no sign of forced entry. Yet, the letters kept vanishing, as if someone—or something—was taking them. The deeper the investigation goes, the more disturbing the truth becomes. Determined to solve the mystery, Elena installed hidden cameras in her study. For days, nothing happened. Then, one night, she heard the faint rustling of papers. Rushing to her study, she found the room exactly as she had left it—except for one thing. A single sheet of paper lay on her desk, one she had never written: "You took my story. Now, I take yours." She woke to the sound of pages rustling, as if someone was flipping through a book. She turned on the light—her study door was wide open. Stepping inside, she gasped. Every single missing letter was scattered across her desk, along with one final message, written in bold ink: "Finish my story, or yours will never be told again." The room grew colder, the shadows shifting unnaturally. A whisper filled the air—Arthur’s voice, echoing from beyond. She had stolen his words, and now, he had returned to take hers. Elena picked up a pen, her hands trembling. If she wanted to survive, she had no choice. She had to write.
