Happy Halloween, everyone!

If you follow any of my social media, you know that I've been uploading strange images and video clips for a few days now.

These ones actually:

I'm so curious what y'all were thinking as that was happening.

My tea party set, while looking all gorgeous and yummy was... special. And I saw y'all drooling over it. Some of you even said you wanted a bite of what was on my table. And to those I say, Are you okay? Seriously... I'm a little concerned for you guys. Maybe you should take a closer look at what was chilling on that table. Or maybe you just vibe with those things, in which case, cool! I'm not about to yuck someone else's yum.

But anyways, all of these mysterious photos and video clips were leading up to today.

10/31/26.

Halloween.

My favorite day of the year. (weird since I was born on Christmas, but it is what it is). I didn't actually plan on today being the day this all happened, but the timing just added up perfectly and I'm ecstatic about it. Today is the premiere of my most intricate music video to date! I've dedicated months to this project and I'm sharing it right here, right now, just in time to finish up Spooky season!

But before I show you, I'd like to share a quick behind the scenes story of what it took to bring this project to life.

First off, I did all of this BY MYSELF with my own two human hands like a badass boss bitch.... and I'm proud of that.

It started with a phone call. About a year ago, I was called crazy and if you know me, you know I turn everything into a joke. If there's one thing I've inherited from all of my trauma, it's a great sense of humor.

So, after I got off the phone, I was joking with my husband about what had happened... and that's where I began to build this song. One thing led to another and Don't Piss Me Off was birthed. With the lyrics, I knew it needed something sweet to counter it and a video that embodied all of it. The idea came together like a puzzle in my head, of course the actual building took a lot of time and learning.

I wrote the track, built the melody and beats, sang it, recorded it, mastered it, bought and hand made pretty much all of the props and costume pieces, and then threw myself into CapCut to learn about green screen and teach myself how to use it. (Not as hard as I expected actually and I'd love to get even better at it.) I don't have money for a crew, I don't have patience for out sourcing. I did it myself with a lot of Monster and my little family cheering me on.

Oh wait... one thing is not MINE to take credit for. If you watch, you'll see my background is actually a series of my babies drawings!

Super sweet, totally innocent... except for the one. You know the one. If you catch it, you know. It's a hard catch... but that one was me.

It was this one...

Also, my little one let me borrow her tea set under the strict rule of washing it THOUROUGHLY when finished.

All in all, this was the most fun I've had since filming my video for Capricorn Energy. I love this song. It's actually pretty special because of the way my kids were involved in a majority of it. Some of the melody is my daughters Jack-in-the-box she's had since she was born. The laugh you'll hear alongside mine... that's my little one.

My music is something near and dear to my heart. I understand most people may not understand why but the amount of snark I get to add to it and the way I'm able to express myself through singing and melody is so therapeutic to me. Which is going to sound a little insane when you watch this video (assuming you haven't gone ahead and watched it already lol). The people who hear the messages hidden within... they know. And it's fun to be able to make a mockery out of the shit I've gone through.

I know no one will ever see my music through my own eyes, but I hope that when you hear it, even the snarky, crazy things... you feel connected in your own way and it sticks with you. I've wanted to be a singer for as long as I can remember, and though I don't think I'll ever be any Amy Slaton singing in a Nashville Studio, my kids are looking up and seeing mama crush every dream she's had from our own home... and encouraging them to be better and do more than I ever have or will and that's pretty fucking special to me.

My oldest thinks I'm a celebrity lol and also said I'm her best friend. She's about to be 13... so I'd chalk that up to a win. Not many kids I know would dare say their mom is their best friend. So, I guess I'm pretty cool or whatever... šŸ’…

This is the spot I'd usually write out my lyrics. But you're not getting any spoilers. This has only happened once before with my music... but I want you to experience this blindly because it's too fun to spoil. Not super expletive in language... it contains the words 'ass' and 'piss'. No F bombs this time around.

But it's Halloween. So... warnings if you need it. There is also one on the video itself.

One more thing before I give you what you've (I've) been waiting for! I just want to let you know that my neighbor happened to come over right after I wrapped up filming. If you've watched the video already, well... imagine how that turned out. If you haven't, envision that as you watch the ending.

Now, please enjoy my premiere and leave me all the feedback, good, bad, ugly. I'm here for it!

Happy Halloween!

K! Bye!
