The Morning hill

A story about a man who is exploring silent hill in the nearby village

By Daud lodhiPublished about a year ago 2 min read

John had always been fascinated by abandoned places. There was something about them that drew him in, an eerie feeling of a world left behind. And so, when he heard about Silent Hills, he knew he had to explore it.

Silent Hills had once been a booming mining town in the mountains. But over the years, the mines dried up, and the town was slowly abandoned. Now, it lay silent and still, almost like a ghost town.

John packed his backpack with everything he might need – food, water, a flashlight, and a camera. He set out early in the morning, eager to explore the town before the sun went down.

As he made his way up the winding road towards Silent Hills, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The road was empty, and the only sound he could hear was the crunching of twigs and leaves under his feet.

He finally reached the outskirts of the town, and could see the empty buildings looming in the distance. John hesitated for a moment, looking at the shadowy structures with a mix of fascination and fear.

But he shook himself out of it, reassuring himself that he had done this many times before. He took a deep breath and made his way towards the first building.

The inside of the first building was dark and dank, the air thick with the smell of dust and mold. John tried to take a deep breath, but every time he inhaled, he felt like he was breathing in years worth of abandonment.

As he made his way through the town, he realized that he was the only living being around for miles. The only company he had was the eerie silence around him, and the creaking sound of the buildings as he stepped inside.

As he went deeper into the town, John began to notice something strange. It was almost as if the town was alive, and watching him. He felt eyes on him, and his skin began to prickle in fear.

He quickly turned around, but there was nothing there. He tried to convince himself that it was just his imagination, but the feeling persisted. He felt like he was being followed, and his instincts told him to get out of there as soon as possible.

Just as John was about to leave, he heard a sound that sent shivers down his spine. It was a low, rumbling growl that seemed to come from deep within the earth. John knew he had to get out of there fast.

He ran towards the exit, his heart racing as he heard the sound getting louder and louder with each passing second. Just as he reached the safety of the woods, the ground beneath him began to shake, and he heard a loud roar.

John looked back to see the town in chaos. The ground shook violently, buildings collapsing and dust filling the air. The roar got louder and louder, and John knew that he had come too close to something that he was never meant to disturb.

The hills fell silent once again, as John stumbled his way out of the woods, shaken but alive. He knew he had to learn to respect abandoned places, and the secrets that lay within them. The silence within can have eyes and hands, he reckoned. Now, whenever he thought of Silent Hills, he shuddered involuntarily.
