I want to share my recent experience with VintageMaker, custom studio equipment builder, Yes, he will make the studio gear you desire exactly as you want it. I stumbled upon quite by chance. And let me tell you, I am beyond impressed!

So, what happened? Well, I decided to reach out to Paul -Vintagemaker to build me a passive routing and monitor controller. When the package arrived, the first thing that struck me was how fantastic it looked. The build quality was top-notch, and it exuded an air of pure quality.

But looks aren't everything, right? When I plugged it in and pressed play, I was in for a real treat! The sound quality blew me away. Honestly, I didn't expect such outstanding audio performance given the price I paid.

During my journey with Paul - VintageMaker, one of the highlights was meeting Paul from the company. He patiently walked me through all the available options, and let me tell you, the possibilities are endless. Initially, I was just looking for a monitor controller, but I soon realized the incredible potential of this device. My goal was to route different synthesizers to two stereo buses connected to DIs, and VintageMaker turned out to be the perfect solution.

With this bus mixer, I can now seamlessly route my synths directly into the DIs without the need for a patchbay. Plus, I can mix the synth signals to create some truly unique sound combinations.

Paul's passive analog mix bus summing box is fantastic and incredibly well-crafted. It's super quiet, can handle a ton of audio without any problems, and doesn't need electricity, which makes it the best way to mix outside of your computer without worrying about clipping. I also love that I can choose my own microphone preamps to send my mix back to my digital audio workstation for recording and mixing. I've had both the Dangerous 2 Buss and the Roll Folcrom before, and I can confidently say that this hybrid summing box is right up there in terms of quality.

If you want to improve your mixing skills, I highly recommend Paul's summing mixers. They're a game-changer. Plus, when you use proper gain staging with them, you can get rid of that digital harshness, distortion, and compressed sound that can sometimes happen when you mix solely on a computer.
