This is a transcription from my podcast: Code World, edited by yours truly:)

Welcome to the code world podcast this is the first official episode. I can't wait to get into all of this tech talk and we're not just going to keep it strictly with coding we're going to expand and talk about gaming, ai, setups UI, UX design in general web development everything under the sun.

I'm your host D.L Bester and before we get started go ahead and follow and subscribe that way you'll be notified every time I have a new article posted and a new episode available.

I'm going to start by talking about coding resources and places that I've actually used myself in order to get started and I feel like this is something that is essential especially because I'm going to be talking about the free ways to get started.

We all know that technology can be very expensive so why not cut back on some of the most basic ways? You can start by doing a quick search by typing something along the lines of learning to code or begin coding asking what program you should learn first.

The first few results that it's going to pull up is probably what college is nearest to you that is offering a web development course or something similar. At least that is the result that came up for me just keep in mind that it's not actually required to have a college degree or a degree at all to do a lot of these development jobs out here a lot of times as long as you know exactly what you're doing and you're able to solve problems then you are going to be able to get a job for sure.

As you start to go down the resources will probably include something similar to free code camp and this is a great racehorse to get started with coding for free, they also have a lot of videos available on their YouTube channel which is a great visual learning source especially if you are a visual learner.

I do recommend following them on YouTube so that way you can really get started in a fast and easy way. A few of these that I will mention do have paid options especially because they are businesses and they want support as well but for the most part they do have the free options available and I feel like learning that is going to be helpful especially for beginners but if you're wanting to get more into it eventually a paid course might be the better option.

Basically you do have to force yourself to code every single day it is something that you have to be extremely consistent with it I would recommend coding at least for two hours every day this doesn't have to be just two straight hours of writing code but this does need to be sporadically throughout the day so that way you can get more comfortable with it because the more you do it the more comfortable you'll be and the more you'll recognize what you are writing and what you are learning.

It is tough and sometimes it can get very boring especially if you don't recognize the symbols and if you don't recognize exactly what you're doing it can get boring and it can get to a point where you might even want to stop completely but if this is really something that you're dedicated with and you really want to learn it then you should just push through it and just do it in small spurts throughout the day.

Over time it will get more natural and it's not going to feel like you just started but it is something that you really have to stick with. I do recommend having a notebook to get started, This obviously isn't something that you have to do but I just ended up doing this because this can help you go back to a lot of the syntax for reference especially if you are completely new and there is a lot to remember there's a lot to memorize. Over time you might end up getting confused by syntax and all of it may start blending.

This concludes the preview:)
