The personal details of more than 500 million Facebook users — including full names and phone numbers — were posted to an online forum earlier this week. Private data that was not listed in public profiles was also shared, including unique Facebook user ID numbers, user location information, job details, gender information and other details.

The leaked data was published on a public hacker forum and discovered by Alon Gal of Hudson Rock Security, who shared the news on Twitter. The hacked database appears to include nearly 533 million users across "all countries," including 32.3 million people in the U.S. and 11.5 million in the U.K. Gal also noted that an anonymous hacker created a Telegram bot that could — for a fee — search the database for specific phone numbers.

Facebook is a place for everyone its a social media everyone likes it mostly seeing your colleges.. And charting ..some people are for dating sow are for other things like business ....

Most especially people feel protected when charting on Facebook ...but later surprisingly you'll try to login in your Facebook account one Day then it refuse saying wrong password..... Who did this "hackers"...

Most especially people feel to hack its hard but not knowing is soon simple.. I'll give the knowledge that u need in hacking there are 3 classes of people which include; newbies, beginners & experts ....

If u are a newbie its simple just follow the steps ..step 1 phishing this is a means hackers use to send a fake link to u and they can use interesting topics like get money in 2 seconds when u tap on their link u will be redirected to their link... Then you'll be asked to login when u login your password will be sent to their mailbox.. How to prevent ..."stop clicking on suspicious links"

If phish doesn't work they use ss7 protocols... Its an attack used to bypass to factor authentication.. Although it doesn't work for other countries like India & Bangladesh.. They will apply for forgotten password.. And Facebook will ask for a confirmation code either through gmail or phone number of the victims so they choose phone number & continue in ss7 protocols ...they will tell the network provider that your sim card is lost and the network provider will then authenticate the process then they receive your confirmation code...how to prevent its difficult because hackers can do it without your consent.. Just always "block any suspicions persons from your friend list" and use "VPN"

If bypass doesn't work hackers use scripts and some brute force tools brute force attack is used to guess weaker passwords are classified into three; 1 weak password 2 normal password 3 strong password ...weak password are passwords containing only lower case letters or only lower case ...normal password are passwords containing only lower case and upper case and numbers ..strong passwords are password containing upper case, lower case, numbers & special characters.. Which is very difficult for hackers to crack..how to prevent brute force attack.. "Use strong passwords"

Lastly hackers use "Editting the source code" this is done with HTML, HTML is a programming language used to code mostly hackers uses it this way... They'll use your name to login they'll be asked for password then they'll go to HTML injector and use it to inject the HTML code in place of the real Facebook code how do hackers get the code? The code aren't created by hackers themselves the code are created by expert in social engineering...and the code changes because in Facebook there are many bug bounty hunters which when they finds out they'll report to Facebook and will be paid heavily ....that the reason why Facebook always feel they're protected
