A Handful Of Planets

Introduction

When I go to Alnwick one of the most fascinating shops that I visit is Ruby Tuesday and this year I wrote a piece on this wonderful emporium, which you can read here.

I wasn't sure whether this would be a poem or just some words about this fascinating crystal Solar System (this amazing item was bought for me as a present from Fiona) which now has its place on my desk and it is lit in front of me as I write this piece.

There are some Instagram images of it here.

The Gingko Amber Crystal Ball Solar System Night Light

This is one of five Amber Crystal Ball Lights that can be seen here:

I am fascinated by it when it is lit you can see the planets and there are words and stars in there, making you feel that you are some kind of technical deity. These are their words:

Solar System: The intricate design showcasing all the planets will elevate your home decor and make it stand out from the rest. It is sure to make children’s rooms come alive!

It sits on a powerful LED light, but even without a light, it is very impressive. I am sure this will inspire me into a poem or story, it does seem to truly radiate magic.

It is fascinating, I see comets and satellites as well as the planets and stars or asteroids. I do think that children will find this as fascinating as me and it can be used as a night light, although it is static, but still beautiful.

I think that this has turned out to be a critique or product review, you can follow the link to the Gingko Design website to see more of these designs as well as many others.

I do not know if I will buy more, maybe one for my granddaughter Alexis when she is older, but I am very impressed with this one.

This is the sort of thing that you could imagine Merlin or some fabled magician holding in their hand while they cast their spells and weave their magic. The designs are etched within the crystal and the powerful LED light brings them to life.

I was having difficulty reading the embedded words in the crystal then realised I had been photographing it upside down, this si what it looks like the right way round.

I am playing with it and discovering new secrets about my own personal Solar System.

Then a slight adjustment shows you comets and clearer views of the names.

I don't know if these images are selling the Amber Crystal Lights to you but I do hope that you are a little more curious about them and at least check out my images and video and then the Gingko Design site.

I am also fascinated with the dandelion one but these are the descriptions of all the others:

Dandelions: The symbol of hope, love, and happiness, the dandelion motif will bring warmth, beauty, and energy to your space.

Galaxy: The mesmerising stars and galaxies in space will add a touch of cosmic beauty to your space and leave you spellbound.

Saturn: Packing dominance, power, and change in a crystal ball, this eye-catching motif will take your home’s aesthetics to the next level.

World Globe: The stunning globe motif makes the lamp look like a work of art and adds a captivating look to the décor.

They also have them on Amazon as well so if you want one that is another option for both me and you.

Concluding Observations

Thank you so much for reading, I didn't expect to be writing this, but I could say that about many of the things that I write about.
