Infographics are considered as one of the most happening digital marketing methods these days. With the help of infographics, you can give your blog an amazing visual appeal. In my previous blog, I already explained about the benefits of including infographics in your blog or website. Hence, we know that including correct and informative infographics is very important from the SEO point of view and it will become the deciding factor for your website/ blog ranking in the popular search engines. With the help of infographics, you can optimize your website or blog pages. Again, creating interesting and amazing infographics is not super easy. You must follow certain key points in order to create excellent visual content.

In this blog of mine, I am going to share 5 major factors that you must consider while designing your infographics. I hope it will be beneficial for all those new bloggers who want to emphasize on on-page SEO activities.

1. Make it Unique:

Your infographics should be unique and different from others. Try to explore your creative designing skills here. Make it catchy, so that it can grab the attention of viewers easily. Some people go through similar blogs and pick their visual design. After that, they do certain modifications and publish them on their blog. What is the major disadvantage of picking others designs and modifying those? The major disadvantage is, that infographics may be protected through a copyright license. You can’t copy, re-design and publish it. If you are using a copyright-free design, make sure to re-design it properly so that, it will look more creative and unique. Viewers don’t like to go through almost similar visual content with zero creativity on multiple sources.

2. Don’t include too much Information:

Never go for providing too much information within a single piece of visual content. Avoid writing wordy phrases. Readers will get bored and lose their interest in your blog. You must use all visual elements in a balanced way. Never go for exaggerating design elements. Keep your visual content simple and easily understandable format. People these days don’t have the patience to read clumsy and unsorted information. Instead, they would love to switch to the next blog.

3. Do Proper Research Before adding Visual Elements:

You must go for thorough research about all the visual elements before using those in your infographics. As we all know, these elements can’t be just picked and applied everywhere. So, the content creator must understand for what purpose he is using these elements and are these elements appropriate for his content or not.

4. Make Key Points Clear and Visible:

Always write your key points in a bold and clear manner. Now-a-days, people prefer to go with the key points first and if they are finding these key points interesting, then only then will proceed with the rest of the content. If key points are not clear and more confusing, then even though the rest of the content is highly informative they will skip reading that.

5. Make Sure to Add the “Share” button:

In order to target more numbers of viewers, you must include a “share” button. With the help of this “share” button, your infographics can be shared through different social media platforms for increased visibility. In other words, we can say that, making our infographics sharable is very much required to attract more traffic to your content.

You can add more value to your visual content by considering these 5 factors while creating visual graphics. Appropriate and good infographics can become a game-changer for your website/ blog.
