iPod dreams
I wish Apple still made iPods. I regret not buying one when they started to discontinued these amazing devices. In my opinion it was a bad business move. I’m sure there is a market for people who still would buy a iPod device to keep in their car or in their gym bag to use solo at the gym or on a walk or a for a hike to escape the everyday hustle of life and its over connectivity.

Pass the positivity
For most of my life I’m always thinking of positive ways that can help other humans. It started in childhood and as I got a little older, I always was looking for that big idea of grander to help make an impact with other humans like the invention of electric car or the thermos bottle. Always wondering about a major idea that can make positive change. I was dreaming of a monumental idea(s) that collectively could be a positive change for our species. Nothing big has ever come into fruition. But I realized you don’t need a massive invention to impact a change to makes peoples lives better. I lend to the idea that the real change happens in the small acts between human beings. In small actions between two people where in those interactions we can have life impact for just one person to ripple across time.

Social media addiction
If you’re feeling consumed by social media and feel overwhelmed trying to take control of how much you use it; you are not alone. Many of us are noticing something is different with the tech we love. While the companies keep adding more features like their competition to keep us from leaving. We dive right into learning these new features that are over stimulating us, filling up our feeds with more ads and suggestions all design to keep our attention for their value. Seems that we got lost from the original intentions of social media and a simple photo sharing post. Even now we are full speed ahead creating or consuming content and jumping from one platform to another. Today something feels off from when we made our first posts with high engagements. Maybe you’re struggling to beat the algorithm because your views or likes have dropped and it’s taking a toll on your mood or mental health after all the time spent creating and curating content. Perhaps you feel like you developed terrible impulses control in the pursuit of likes and trying to grow in followers. Maybe you’re struggling with mindlessly scrolling through feeds stuck in a type of autopilot compulsion mode of just consuming content. Maybe you’re comparing yourself and your creativity to others and feeling down about yourself because your numbers are lower. Perhaps you feel your attention span has shortened and you find it difficult to concentrate as a side effect from over stimulation. Maybe you want more discipline on how much time you spend on your device yet you feel helpless because it’s feels like a struggle for you. In a world were we are all constantly consuming social media many of us have been dealing with some sort of over consumption of it and attempting to regain some control over of it.

Magic Rain
My grandmother’s grandmother would tell her stories about a magical world that would appear when it rained. A world of magical creatures that wandered around us but invisible to the plain human eyes. She would listen to these stories that were passed down from generation to generation of women in our family handed down over time. Now she was telling me these stories a new generation in the family. She would paint a beautiful world before bedtime that made for amazing dreams.

Looking for the last music
The rumors have be circulating…….. The rumors started years ago about a girl that was organizing people to search for any computer or tablets or device that had digital music files that was not erase from the “Big Spark”. The rumors would go through town like Dandelion seeds floating in air with wishful dreams every time a newcomer passing through town. It gave us hope from the way the world once was. Many of us have never herd old music that once people carried in their pockets in little devices. A lot have seen the devices but few people have found one that still works. Some of these musical devices were protected from the “Big Spark”. At least that’s what the older ones wished for. We still look to the sky in fear even though it has been years since the ones that dominated the skies with the laser beams. Our defenses were no match to them. We don’t know where they came from. We think they went back to their home planet. Some are wait for a second wave. Some believe that they put us back into the stone age because we were destroying the planet ecosystems. While some where trying to protect earth we were just growing to fast to make any helpful changes.

I love art
Since I was a child I have been a creative individual. I think it all started because my parents traveled the world in a VW bus so my imagination was my best friend in the first couple of years on earth. I found my imagination early by looking into nature and create images in the clouds or rock formations. Then I started to color and doodle what I saw in the world and replicated them on blank paper that lead to creating cars or cities of the future on other planets. As I got older I would create stuff with my hands from sand to clay and then more technically stuff out of wood scraps. My whole life I have just been very creative and I had a need to express myself through making of stuff.

Creating Happiness
Creating happiness 2021.06.09 The steps to happiness though the craft of wrapping gifts. Most of us have wrapped a gift and over the years we get better at this gesture of love that we give to our friends, to our family and our love. For many years I have thought about this act and how we take it for granted. We normally think of it more as a chore or a task on a list to check off. Perhaps a bothersome moment or inconvenience for some. I think over the years I have become very skilled from years of practice. This is for the ones who never think they have artistic talent but do. There are acts we do without ever thinking they could be considered an art form. Wrapping a gift for someone is in fact an art form that we all partake in. I love receiving gifts but not as much as giving them. The whole act brings me happiness.
