17 REASONS WHY YOU LOVE AFFILIATE MARKETING

Most recently, I have discovered affiliate marketing to be very lucrative. I have to admit, though, that it isn't easy, but it has its advantages. Affiliate marketing requires all of the usual investing in any online endeavor: knowledge, dedication, discipline, and patience, but it can pay off handsomely.

The key is to understand your market niche; the niche needs to be something you know about and have a passion for. Once you identify your niche, publishers of quality products and services abound. There are numerous and well-respected affiliate publishers available who can provide quality products.

In recent years, we are beginning to see niche publishers, for example, Green Living, who are serving new, emerging markets. A little bit of research is required, but again the internet makes this pretty simple. When I started my affiliate business, I did not know anything about the benefits of working as an affiliate.

Today I will give you 17 reasons why I love it and how it can help you increase your income.

In retrospect, however, I’m thrilled that I chose the affiliate marketing path primarily because of the benefits listed below.

1. No Production Costs - The cost to develop and produce a new product is prohibitive for almost anyone who wants to start a home-based business. Affiliate programs don't require any production costs. The product is fully tested and developed on the merchant's dime.

2. Low-Cost Set-up - Compared with building a store offline, becoming an Internet marketer is cheap. You probably already have a desk, an Internet-connected computer, and word-processing software --- which is all the equipment you may need.

3. No Fees or Licenses – Those who sell products in the ‘real world’ must often pay for a license to distribute products within a limited geographic region. Affiliate programs, on the other hand, are usually free to join, and geographic market reach is limited only by the affiliate’s ability to promote his website.

4. Sell almost anything – what doesn't sell online? That list must be smaller than all the descriptions sold online. Thousands of affiliate programs sell each product under the sun. This makes it easy to find products related to your current or planned website.

5. No sales experience is required – when I started my approved business, I did not have sales experience. That wasn't a problem, anyway. The companies I've linked to have provided excellent marketing material and sales tips. Many traders will go out of their way to help increase the sales of affiliates.

6. There are no employees – employees' salaries are the biggest business expense. While you may need or want someone to work for you in need, you never have to worry about hiring a full or part-time employee when working as an affiliate marketer. When you have a project that you want to hire, it's easy to find experts in each computer-related field who can work for you from their own homes. You only pay for the project and don't have to worry about ongoing employee-related benefits and deductions.

7. There is no merchant account - setting up a merchant account is time-consuming and expensive. However, affiliate marketers do not need merchant accounts. All the expenses for processing the payment are borne by the traders. As an affiliate, you will never lose sleep due to chargebacks, frauds, or losing your merchant account.

8. There is no inventory – As an affiliate marketer, you can sell large items without storage concerns, even if you live in a small one-bedroom apartment.

9. There is no order processing - forget the problems associated with collecting and storing name, address, credit card number, etc. The merchant does all this!

10. There is no shipping - the cost and hassle of preparing and shipping products to customers worldwide can be amazing. Affiliates never have to worry about packaging or postal.

11.No customer service – do you hate the possibility of dealing with bad people or customer complaints? Don't worry about it! The merchant manages the snatchers.

12. Make money when you sleep – what other business allows you to keep your door open as the sole owner and make money when you take a break or even after going home at night?

13. Global Marketplace – The Internet is the largest marketplace in the world. You can take more visitors to your online store in a day than a small-town businessman would see in his brick and mortar business in a year.

14. Work from home – Working from home is considered the best facility by those who despise long commutes to work or prefer to work after their pajamas to do an online business. Parents, in particular, value spending more time with their children.

15. Work anywhere in the world – an online business is suitable for those who love to travel. I used my laptop for my business to be affiliated with distant places in North America and South America and China.

16. Minimum risk – The product you chose is not making money? It's a dump. Takedown your link and other promotions! It's that simple. There is no long-term contract that binds you to products that don't sell you.

17. High-income probability – If you have a job, your salary or hourly wages are probably pre-determined. There may not be much except working overtime to increase your income. With your own affiliate business on the Internet, your income prospects are limited only by your will, effort, and imagination. That's why affiliates prefer affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing may not be the perfect solution for everyone and it is very true that as a product owner one can make a lot more money than is possible as an affiliate if the right product is made. But having to say that the affiliate marketer can make a lot of money without the pressure associated with the ownership of the product so don't write it down as an option when looking at which internet marketing strategy is best for you.
