This is to be read in black humour.

None of it is accurate or true.

Apart from the excellent gravestone humour that I have shared.

I know a lot of people on Vocal will be glad when I'm gone, but I thought it would be fun to share some memorable and funny gravestoms from this excellent web page.

But just think, I will get to congregate with the ones who left these messages etched in stone, although this was a very sad statement about the society we live in.

Conclusion

I didn't want anyone sad when I was gone; I wanted people to remember and treasure the good stuff.

So I had a grevestone featuring a guitar and a vinyl record, and the lines

"He Never Learned To Play But Made A Lot Of Noise, And if Anyone Can Find A Way Back He Will"

The thing is, as long as what Arpanet started, and Tim Berners-Lee made simple for everyone, and the existence of hard copy writing, I was already immortal.

People found my books, which became best sellers and the signed copies were worth a fortune.

And many of my stories have me talking in them

And as long as we have power and the web, I am immortal

So I may have been classed as dead, I was certainly not gone from people's memories, and every day someone new becomes a fan of my wonderful work.
