Our world is a beautiful place. It is filled with lot’s of wonderful things and peoples. It is a world were peoples help each other in the time of needs. It’s a world were people works together to build a better future for all.

But, is our world really that generous?

Our society always speaks about women empowerment and equal right for all. But we are always taught to respect the women’s. If we go back to the Indian culture we could see women are consider as GODS.

BUT, Sometimes when we face the hard reality of this society, we could see how rotten our society has become…….

It was a beautiful morning, and Neethu was getting ready for her work. Neethu was a single mother with two children two rise by her own. Their father passed last year due to cancer, and Neethu was taking care of her family after his death. But she was happy with her life. She had two wonderful children’s, who are good at their studies. Her family was always happy with, what little they have.

Neethu suddenly noticed the clock. She realized, It was too late for her work. She quickly packed her kid’s lunch and took a small bite from her breakfast as she got ready for her work.

On the way to her work place, she walked pass many people who was enjoying their day singing, talking, and telling jokes. Neethu worked day and night for her family. She never thought about herself. She couldn’t remember the last time she took a leave from her work. But she got no time to thing about it, she got many other things to worry about.

As she walks faster and faster, at a distance she could see her manager waiting for her at the entrance.

When she rushed to join her shift, manager stopped her and scolded her for being late all time. At that point it’s been a daily routine for her now.

Neethu was working in a petrol station near her apartment. Her salary was her family’s only source of income. While she was being yelled at by the manager, only thing she could think about is her children’s school fees, her apartment rent, and her list goes on.

After apologizing to her manager, she approached first her customer with happy smile and filled his car with fuel and giving back his change. As Neethu was at her work, she was thinking that today will also pass on as usual. But she was not aware of the bad thing that gonna happen to her.

Its was too hot and Neethu was too tried. As her shift was about to end, a very expensive looking car droved to the gas station. Neethu suddenly rushed to fill he fuel, as the manager screamed from behind. As she filling fuel, she couldn’t help notice that fancy looking number on that car’s number plate.

When she approached for her payment, she saw a handsome looking man dressed in a black suits. He took out his expensive looking wallet and took out a bundle of fresh currency notes and without saying anything, he throwed that bundle of notes onto her face. He laughed and said in arrogant voice “PICK IT UP; AND KEEP THE CHANGE”

As he drove away after saying this, Neethu was in shock. She couldn’t understand why he did it. She always treated her customer with respect. As she was picking up the scattered notes one by one, tears were falling down her cheeks. She thought to herself “What did I do wrong?” “What did I do to deserve this?”
