Update on The Unreliable Narrator Literary Challenge

The due date to submit your Unreliable Narrator stories is Monday November 6, 2023

As mentioned in the original post for the Unreliable Narrator Literary Challenge (of which I have included a few links to in this announcement), I would be making an announcement to introduce the Judges of the Challenge. We are judging each story in six different categories. A maximum of five points is available in each category, totaling a maximum of 30 points overall.

Our Cast of Judges includes three known names in the Vocal Media stratosphere.

Let's start with the SWEET ONE first. Don't be deceived Mother Combs isn't only just a sweet, sweet smile. She is an intelligent lady and quite the prolific and clever writer. At this point she has 418 whopping stories published on the Vocal platform!!! Let's give Mother Combs a round of applause!!! 👏👏👏. The name Mother Combs is fitting for her as she is all heart. She believes in family, friends, and creating a comfortable community environment. She really cares for those around her and it shows in the little extra touches of kindness and love she puts out to others.

Our next judge is the PASSIONATE ONE. He truly writes from his heart and soul. Grz Colm goes above and beyond not only to connect with his own inner emotions but he also connects with those around him whether a friend or family or someone reading his stories, reviews or poetry. Grz is an introspective type who has no problem reaching out and spreading that love to those in his midst.

Finally, the CRAZY ONE. Let's just cut to the chase, the Crazy One is me, Rick Henry Christopher. I get lost in my thoughts easily and that is a wonderful magical place to be. I love it inside. However, I don't ever get to delve too deeply into anything anymore, as being the 24/7 caregiver for my beautiful mom keeps my mind constantly focused on what lies outside of my thoughts and keeps my body in a state of constant motion. I wholeheartedly love my sweetest, beautiful, sometimes stubborn, and feisty mom. It is well-worth giving my all to ensure that my mom's last years on earth are filled with warmth and love.

At this point in time we have four sublime stories submitted to this challenge. I am hoping for a few more. The deadline for submitting stories is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2023.

Once upon a time there was a Rick Henry... then after his brother Chris passed away (January 31, 2021) he became Rick Henry Christopher. My brother's memory lives on in me. He was a great guy. He was gentle and caring and a person you could count on and trust to the very end. I love you my brother Christopher!!!
