Hero Who Become Fugitives or Cures or Causes an Epidemic
Cards Against Normality — Prompt: Everything happens for a reason. Usually that reason should be your hero. Look for ways she can take the reins of the story. There’s nothing wrong with a “passive” hero as long as her passivity alters the course of the story. (By her doing nothing, something changes.) Consider reversing the cause and effect. What if your hero robs a bank because she’s a fugitive? What if your doctor causes rather than cures the epidemic?

Back from my Cruise
Home Sweet home. Now it's time to get back to the everyday life. I do feel a lot better than before the cruise for then I felt sluggish, tired and maybe even a little depressed and really did not want to do anything. Now I am excited for while on this cruise when one morning while watching the water I had an idea of writing a book, and now I have written maybe two or three chapters now and still working on the story, and a few drabbles from observing other passengers around the ship. Will posting the drabbles soon.

I'm Back!
I didn't die, or quit, or drop off the face of the earth. The update required a new picture of my expired ID. I don't drive, I have a non-driver's license/ State ID, so I didn't think much of it when I realized it had expired. Then, when I got around to doing it, I found that I needed my Marriage license to complete the application, which I no longer had. My mother stole the first one, so I ordered a new one near the beginning of the year, only to promptly forget to actually get it renewed.

We got the metaphor backwards somewhere. Somewhere along the way, we decided that pain was supposed to make us hard. That the goal, after everything, was to become someone who couldn't be touched the same way twice. Armor as achievement. Numbness mistaken for mastery. We started treating the callus as the whole point of the wound.
