Part Five - The Fellow Vocal Writer Boost Unofficial Challenge
Paul has set us on fire with his multipart challenge.
I needed to do it all at once, over a few days. 5 parts. <sigh>
Why?
I would forget.
My brain would be overwhelmed.
Or fatigued.
I would overthink it and go on and on - but wait!
I am known as a minimalist. I must not ramble!
J. Otis Haas
J. Otis Haas writes the most incredible stories. I fall into them and find myself a kindred soul of his, our brains connect on the same path. He tells the truth in his fiction and beautifully satirizes the world’s flaws.
A story of his:
Lana Lynx
Lana has become my friend on Vocal. She is thoughtful, kind, very smart, and I love her drabbles and Swamp stories. She gives insight into Russia, shares fabulous recipes, makes us think and makes us laugh. I can depend on her insights and inside information into politics.
Lamar Wiggins
Lamar Wiggins makes me laugh. He makes me think. I get his writing and I think he gets mine. He write poetry, horror, fiction and draws you in. The realistic scenarios he creates can warm your heart or chill your soul.
Caitlin Charlton is amazing.
Cailtin gives feedback that is as beautiful as her writing. Her insightful comments always touch the writer deeply. The poetry and stories she creates are many-layered which usually require a second read.
Rachel Deeming
I connect with her writing and characters. She is a master at world building and her characters are richly described and many faceted.
This is not to say that I don't have other favorites but you know that Paul, yeah that one! He said 5. So….I picked 5. Following the rules. But there others out there, Sara W. who writes of her life and family along with music and is many and hugely talented. Tim C. gives us Appalachian life in visual context, history and words of brilliant color. Hannah M.- fabricates stories of life that draw you in and pull you along. Kelli S. creates beautiful poetry and sometimes sad/personal stories that are heartbreaking. Denise L. teaches us through her writings from the classes and groups she is in, and makes us laugh at personal situations. John C. is multi-talented and was so supportive of my work and creates sagas that continue and keep you encased, as well as hanging sometimes with Paul. Tiff loves her dolls and gives us poetry and stories that uplift, and lives in my PNW. Kodah is glorius and sweet, and touches all with her poetry and comments. Dharr, the creator par excellence who prefers horror. The first one of hers I read, I gasped, but she ended it well and with a lesson to all. She reads so much, is smart and supportive….
I could name well over 100 but PAUL said 5. And, remember, Minimalist Andi.
I learn from all of you, so thank you.
Love all you guys!
Kindly - In Written Word With You ❤️✍️🎉😍
Oh, before I forget, because I am tired and my brain is overworked, here is the link to Paul's challenge:
