Let's tell a love story

I've often centered conversations around my personal experiences, but today, I want to take a step back from my own narrative and spotlight the story of a truly significant person in my life, my life partner.

I'd always been under the impression that love was a potent, all-consuming force that had the potential to divert my attention from my career goals and aspirations. Immersed in my work and wholly devoted to climbing the ladder of professional success, I hadn't allowed myself to fully open my heart to another person until the relatively late age of 19.
