The thing I'd be careful of is this:
Sometimes the fixer/protector instinct can turn uncertainty into a problem that needs solving.
But some situations can't be solved from the outside.
You can determine whether a house is on fire.
You can determine whether someone needs CPR.
You cannot determine his feelings, his level of attraction, and the entire emotional history of any man or woman from a handful of selfies and text messages.
