It’s only me!

Me

It’s Only Me!

I think I just killed a man!

Same old me, same old trick,

Reminiscing solely about the old me, I can’t get enough,

Sitting in my corner with a round to my chest and a hole in my head,

Bang! I think I just killed a man.

That’s what you get when you gamble with your thoughts and flip your mind till it keeps racing like the stallion in a thousand mile,

Closed my eyes and felt the world stop spinning,

Not a tingle, nor spark to my spines,

It’s when I realized I’m buried alive.

It’s my mugshot staring back at me through the shadows on my back,

One closed eye and I look a different breed of these demons,

Each of my days dig a little bigger and another night I left behind, I got stuck in between the lines,

See, that’s what you get when you let a random string hold you back from what’s yours

These two hands of a raging man, I think I’ll just bleed them out,

It’s either you die or you learn to swim when your mind is raised in a place where it’s too dark to see.

Same old place, same old keys and they never want to leave!

Can’t even distinguish between happy and sad. I guess there’s only ME.

It’s time to let go.
