INT. HIGHWAY - SUNSET
FADE IN:
A long, winding highway stretches into the horizon. The sun is setting, casting an orange glow over the scene. The roar of motorcycle engines breaks the evening silence.
CUT TO:
EXT. HIGHWAY - CONTINUOUS
Two bikers, JACK and MIKE, are riding side by side at high speed. Both are clad in rugged leather jackets and helmets. JACK glances at MIKE, determination in his eyes.
JACK
(intense)
This ends now, Mike!
MIKE
(smiling menacingly)
Bring it on, Jack!
JACK reaches into his jacket and pulls out a gleaming knife. MIKE responds by swinging a chain menacingly in his right hand.
CLOSE UP:
JACK'S HAND
as he grips the knife tightly.
MIKE'S HAND
as he swings the chain, ready to strike.
WIDE SHOT:
The bikers maneuver their motorcycles closer, engines roaring. JACK swerves towards MIKE, slashing with his knife. MIKE dodges and counters with the chain, aiming for JACK's head.
SFX:
Metal clashing, engines roaring.
MEDIUM SHOT:
JACK narrowly avoids the chain, which instead strikes the metal frame of his bike, sending sparks flying. He regains balance and accelerates, pulling ahead of MIKE briefly.
CLOSE UP:
JACK'S EYES
narrowed in concentration.
MIKE'S SMIRK
full of confidence.
HIGHWAY - CONTINUOUS
The two bikers are now neck and neck again. JACK takes a risky move, leaning in and slashing at MIKE's tire. The knife connects, and the tire hisses as it loses air.
MIKE
(angrily)
You’ll pay for that!
MIKE pulls out a throwing star from his pocket and hurls it at JACK. JACK dodges just in time, the star whizzing past his helmet.
HIGHWAY - ANOTHER ANGLE
The road ahead is littered with debris. The bikers navigate skillfully, but the fight continues. JACK gets another chance and slashes at MIKE's arm, drawing blood.
MIKE
(grimacing)
That’s it!
MIKE swings the chain again, this time wrapping it around JACK's handlebar. He yanks hard, causing JACK to lose control momentarily. The bike swerves dangerously close to the edge of the road.
JACK
(struggling)
No!
JACK manages to cut the chain with his knife and regains control of his bike. He speeds up, creating distance between them.
MIKE
(yelling)
You can’t run forever!
HIGHWAY - FINAL STRETCH
JACK and MIKE are now approaching a sharp turn. JACK accelerates, taking the turn sharply. MIKE follows, but his damaged bike struggles. JACK looks back and sees MIKE falling behind.
JACK
(relieved)
It’s over, Mike.
MIKE, realizing his defeat, slows down and finally stops, his bike sputtering to a halt. JACK rides off into the sunset, the fight won.
EXT. HIGHWAY - NIGHT
JACK pulls off the highway and stops at a deserted gas station. He dismounts his bike, breathing heavily. The distant sound of MIKE’s bike fading into silence.
GAS STATION
JACK walks towards a vending machine, inserting coins with a shaky hand. He retrieves a bottle of water, twists the cap open, and takes a long drink.
FLASHBACK SEQUENCE:
EXT. BAR - NIGHT
JACK and MIKE, once friends, laughing and clinking beer bottles.
EXT. BAR - NIGHT (LATER)
An argument erupts. MIKE shoves JACK, who stumbles back, glaring.
EXT. BAR - NIGHT (EVEN LATER)
MIKE storms out, vowing revenge. JACK watches, fists clenched.
BACK TO PRESENT:
JACK finishes the water, tossing the bottle into a nearby trash can. He mounts his bike again, determination renewed.
HIGHWAY - LATER
JACK rides into the night, the glow of the city ahead. The road is clear, but his mind is not. He knows MIKE won’t give up easily.
EXT. CITY STREETS - NIGHT
JACK weaves through traffic, alert for any sign of MIKE. The city lights reflect off his helmet as he speeds through the bustling streets.
INTERIOR. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT
MIKE, nursing his wounds, plans his next move. Maps and photos of JACK are spread out on a table. His eyes burn with vengeance.
MIKE
(to himself)
Next time, Jack. Next time you won’t be so lucky.
EXT. CITY OUTSKIRTS - NIGHT
JACK pulls into a quiet neighborhood, stopping in front of a small house. He dismounts, walking towards the front door. He pauses, looking around cautiously before entering.
INT. HOUSE - NIGHT
JACK enters, greeted by a worried-looking woman, LUCY.
LUCY
(softly)
Jack, are you okay?
JACK
(tiredly)
I’m fine, Lucy. It’s over for now.
They embrace, holding each other tightly. JACK closes his eyes, finally allowing himself a moment of peace.
FADE OUT.
END SCENE.
