Porsche is a German luxury sports car manufacturer founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche. The company is best known for its iconic sports cars, such as the Porsche 911, which has been in production since 1963. In addition to sports cars, Porsche also produces luxury SUVs, such as the Porsche Cayenne, and electric vehicles, such as the Porsche Taycan.

Throughout its history, Porsche has been at the forefront of automotive innovation and has won numerous awards for its design and engineering excellence. The company has also been involved in motorsports since its inception, with its racing cars competing in events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Porsche Carrera Cup.

Despite facing challenges and changes in ownership over the years, Porsche has remained a leader in the automotive industry and continues to produce some of the most sought-after sports cars in the world. and that is the main reason why Porsche cars are so expensive

Porsche cars have an incredible shock absorption capability: drivers feel like they are one with the car as it glides on asphalt given how well and accurately it responds to the wheel. The experience is like driving on air regardless of the condition of the road.

In 1948, the world saw the birth of arguably the best automaker come out of Stuttgart; that's Porsche. The company started with the Type 356 and soon moved on to revolutionize the automotive industry as we know it today. But, why do we consider it the best of the best?

Well, some might argue that brands like BMW, Ferrari, or Lamborghini are the best automobile brand since they crafted stupefying sports cars like the M3, Enzo, and Aventador. Others stand by classic American brands such as Chevrolet and Ford because of cars like the Camaro and Mustang. After all, both of these cult-followed muscle cars are still manufactured. Actually, we had a first look at a real 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse not too long ago.

Regardless, we believe that Porsche is the cream of the crop when looking at the automotive space from an objective point of view. Here's why.

Although Porsche started out building fun driver-focused sports cars, the market soon demanded more from the brand if they wanted to stay afloat. After the 911, Porsche built a smaller, more fuel-efficient sports car called the Porsche 914, and then a more luxurious high-speed cruiser called the 928.

In the early 2000s, all of this changed however with the rise in demand surrounding practical family SUVs and sedans. What did Porsche do? Well, they put their own spin on the niche and conceived the Porsche Cayenne and eventually the Panamera, too. That's not even to mention the Taycan, their first-ever electric vehicle.

Somehow, Porsche managed to translate their sports cars' engaging driving experience into their practical family cars. Not only that, but they also blessed the world with a more compact alternative to the 911 now known as the Cayman and the Boxster.

Saying Porsches are fast is almost as surprising as saying the Mona Lisa is beautiful. Everyone knows it. But, how fast is Porsche's most visceral machines actually? Well, the 918 Spyder, Porsche's plug-in hybrid supercar reaches 60 mph from a stop in just 2.5 seconds.

Even Porsche's electric family sedan, the Taycan is a force to be reckoned with. This understated EV does 0-60 mph in a mere 2.4 seconds and only tops out once it reaches 162 mph - which is unheard of for an electric car.

Some Porsche purists still consider it a sin to modify your Porsche, but with brands like RWB (RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF), it's difficult to side with the pretentious crowd. RWB is a brand that takes classic Porsches and morphs them into Japanese-inspired widebody performance brutes. Akira Nakai-San, the founder, constructs all of his creations by hand.

In spite of featuring top-tier technology and luscious materials, there is not an ounce of driver involvement lost in any Porsche. Brands like Mercedes-Benz and Tesla suffer from severe creaking and have cheap plastics and panel gaps, but Porsche still builds their cars with the utmost respect and care.
