Car racing; all the fast and the furious of the automobile world.
Miata The Universal Roadster
That is not a stock Miata obviously, my good friend Austin drives this as his drift car. The 2001 Miata is a roadster from the factory with 142 hp, stuffed inside a 1.8L 4 cylinder. It gets decent mileage in gas, but if you are asking yourself am I reading a brochure then maybe I don't know what you call it. All I know is this is another car that can change its class based off its look from the factory. From SCCA road racing to Drifting like my buddy in his.

RSX Type-S (S-ilent T)
The Acura RSX Type S (DC5) is the most universal automobile in the car enthusiast community. I am happy to say I had one, its that black beauty in the picture. It is a 2005 6 -speed manual FWD Hatchback from the factory, it gets up to 28mpg highway. The price for these aren't expensive, but neither is their aftermarket. I believe that this car is probably a mattress on wheels because it is slept on so much. This is a sleeper with style it lets you move in silence financially if you wanted to.

The Bull from the Factory
Above is the Lamborghini Reventon a car that is forgotten, but still hold's as much value as these new Lamborghini's. I believe that sentence sounds like someone writing this story, I think he should stick to writing about Lamborghini. Lamborghini was built after Ferrari, because someone was rejected. That someone was Ferruccio Lamborghini, yes these cars are named after people. Unfortunately my last name is cherry so I am already famous, but his product started off a tractor to. Sometimes handling rejection in private can result in ideas like the Lamborghini factory in Italy founded in 1963.

Seeing Red
Some people get Ferrari confused as a car, but it is a brand. Not all Ferrari owners are pricks, but the real car enthusiast know what Ferrari they drive and know how to enjoy what they have. I purposely made this article number twenty four only to pay respect to another Ferrari enthusiast who a lot of people saw him as a cut throat get right to it. Kobe Bryant was loved for his passion to basketball he also lived in Italy, home of the Ferrari. I love basketball trust me that hasn't changed before I get back to Ferrari's someone told me that basketball has nothing to with cardio as a workout for professional race car driver. I am trying to figure out how Kobe Bryant had dedication to building a better life for himself if basketball wasn't involved.

GTR vs.Godzilla
To you that is probably a GTR R32, but to most car enthusiast its Godzilla. That car has the title of a monster who causes destruction to cities and supposedly saves people when all he cares about is being the strongest monster around. That is the purpose of the GTR to be the best car ever built and in 2021 it still is. The least expensive production car to create the most aftermarket horsepower, best track times, and obviously one of the most famous movie cars to come to the screen. This car was famous for its AWD ability and can produce over one thousand horsepower.

Ferrari vs Lamborghini story
Automobili Lamborghini has selected talented engineers, including Giotto Bizzarrini, to make the Ferrari engine and start working on their first car. Meanwhile, Ferrari is back in business, as usual, unaware of the controversy that began when he started working on his V12 sports car.

The Racing Mentor
I referenced Jess in the story " Why being a track/enthusiast makes me happy" and I will touch on a few points why she is part of the process. Her book she wrote "Get Paid To Race" describes and list the proper steps it takes to get a sponsorship. If you are asking if I emailed Vocal to apologize about the slander in the story "Passion vs. Dedication"... I did and they responded with "there was no slander". The reason being they understand I am passionate about writing and race cars. I don't have to explain to them something they hear everyday when someone is expressing themselves through their work.

Building a Healthy Relationship with Failure
It is one thing to make this journey solo, but even failure can push you towards people who can be a positive impact in your life. This story is still connected to this whole adventure so don't think we are off track. We are about to enter a turn with someone else who I see as not just a coach, but someone who knows how to keep pushing when times get tough. Meet the man, the myth, the Memo Calderon. Born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and now resides in Washington, so yes I met him in Washington State. He is a certified Racecar Technician, he met me while I had the lack of track knowledge and had a smart mouth even though I still do. He called me out so many times and I was like one of these days I will show him on the track. One month later my Acura was totaled, I was looking like a straight fool! He wasn't disappointed in the accident he was more disappointed in the way it happened and how I handled the situation. This is where a guy who has the most bad ass life shows me it is okay to fail.

PASSION vs. DEDICATION
PASSION vs. DEDICATION I want to say starting off, this story goes out in loving memory to Samuel Casas. The brother of the man named Manny Alvarez and I will explain why they mean family to me. In my story “Coast to Coast” I described the car scene as overwhelming in Phoenix, Arizona. There are way too many social groups with car enthusiasts that like different categories. You have to keep in mind also I have no vehicle so not a lot of car enthusiasts will talk to you unless you had the knowledge, camera, or the biggest one a car. I understand though I had to lay low, because I was still in the process of settling in Arizona so I wasn’t keen on looking for attention anyway. I did want that car enthusiast to just chat with, I have a few still I stay in touch with via social media, text, and calls. I have my friend from day one Austin he pushes me, but he is on the other side of the country. I believe the universe brings you the right energy in due time, it is hard to find people who even have the passion to be a car enthusiast. I don’t even want to bring up dedication because on social media we have no idea who is really into or just looking for somewhere to fit in. Manny and Sam have passion and dedication, it isn’t one or the other that describes them either. Each of them project both passion and dedication and it wasn’t till I met them the wheels started turning no pun intended. It is so hard to find genuine people that have attributes like that, at the time in Washington State the car scene found me. I was going home and my first set of crazy roommates left me for a show not letting me know, but okay. I met this guy though and it wasn’t him asking me about my hobbies or I saw his car. In fact he just liked the backpack I had on at the time, for some reason since then everyone was always complimenting the backpack I had on. I ended up finally getting a plain one only, because I want to just get on with my life and stop meeting other people. Anyway we just clicked like that and he took me to my first show. Then after that things started rolling, that is how I describe Manny and Sam. They got the ball rolling off of humble beginnings for me, I almost stopped writing when I felt as if it wasn’t going anywhere then Manny and the other car enthusiast that supported me told me to keep going. In all honesty this writing thing is supposed to help work towards a car, but I think we should ask for more? If Vocal is supposed to support those with a passion for a craft or hobby, where is my race car or sponsorship to my race team to build a race car? The reason being, Vocal can’t even support themselves. I am not the one to wait for opportunity, I am just learning what patience is. My circle knows that I hate asking, but I have to be humble when I say never wait for someone to help you. Go out and get it yourself, I still have a day job. I rarely get to sleep, so when I say I am always dedicated to my passion I mean it. I can’t compare passion vs. dedication like you guys with no real goals in life, my circle won’t allow it. So as I finish up here remember why you wake up and go to your job you say you work so hard at. My circle doesn’t question themselves, they go in and do it. In the time for you it takes to come up with a plan to go and do something you could have done it. Don't say you were too busy reading this, I just want to be able to give you a little direction here so you won't feel too offended. That isn't my plan I just want you to realize that sometimes it won't happen overnight, if you keep stepping in the wrong mud and sitting there figuring on how to get out. I will end this here, because I still step in mud I just get out faster then I did and we don't need the blind leading the blind. I have glasses, but I am just trying to motivate you not tell you how to live your life.
