The main mechanical structure of a car can be broadly divided into the body, interior equipment, engine power, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electronic control systems. The modification of the exterior of the car has always occupied a rather important position, and the general exterior modification mainly includes stickers, body paint, emblems, front and rear bars, large surrounds, high tail fins, open-hole engine cover, window sunshade, HID xenon headlights, headlight trim panels, front and rear lenses, lowering the body, etc.

The quickest and easiest way to change the appearance of the body is to add an aerodynamic kit. The so-called aerodynamic kit is commonly known as the big package, which contains the air intake grille, side spoiler (side skirt), rear surround and rear spoiler flow (rear wing), etc. Sometimes we will also see in the original bumper will add a piece of the lower spoiler, generally called the chin: if the front and rear insurance rod is not replaced, only the addition of the chin, some people also call it a small package. Power Modifications

Just like the heart of a person, the engine is the heart of the car, which is the most important part of the whole car. The most important modification is to increase its power output, such as increasing the bore, increasing the compression ratio, adding more valves, changing natural aspiration to turbocharging, etc. However, it must be noted that modifying the engine is quite dangerous, and a careless engine can be damaged or even cause serious safety accidents.

Air intake system

Engine work requires a lot of air, air into the engine first through the air filter, which is the most important component of the air intake system, most of the original configuration is currently a disposable paper filter. Modified products are made of special chemical fibers, the biggest advantage of which is that while filtering the air, the airflow into the combustion chamber, the flow rate is increased by more than 30%, so that the fuel is burned more fully, the unit efficiency is higher, and the engine performance is naturally not bad.

Ignition system

The ignition system is another element of the engine, consisting of spark plugs and ignition wires. The original configuration is a single harness, which is not satisfactory in terms of voltage and current throughput.

Retrofitting with a multi-group wiring harness and high-performance conductive special ignition coil to produce high voltage electricity can be conducted to the spark plug in a large number and timely. The spark plug is the end group of the ignition system, using the spark generated by the electrode to ignite the mixed oil and gas, complete the combustion, and push the piston to work. The original factory configuration is the same as the spark wire, which is the minimum configuration made to reduce cost. If the owner replaces the spark wire and sparks plug, it will make the car harden the throttle, start swiftly and accelerate harshly.

Exhaust system

The efficiency of the exhaust is directly related to the efficiency of the engine. While the intake air increases and combustion are intact, the exhaust efficiency also needs to be enhanced. High-performance exhaust pipes and silencers have become the goal of car owners in pursuit of power.

Maneuverability Modification Brakes

The structure design of the brake system is relatively simple, but the modification workload is larger. The fastest and most direct way to improve its braking performance is to change the high-performance brake pads. In addition, if you want to upgrade the brake system, you can also change the high-grade brake fluid; change the metal high-pressure brake line; or use a larger brake multiplier to improve the auxiliary power of the brake pedal.

Chassis and suspension

The biggest factor related to the handling of the car is the chassis suspension system, the original design of which is generally acceptable to the general public. The modification of the chassis suspension system can be divided into shock absorber change, suspension structure rod strengthening, body rigidity strengthening, and other parts. The most influential and most modified items are shock absorbers. The types of shock absorbers on the market are original reinforced, original reinforced body height adjustable, professional high sport type, competition special type, etc. Owners should choose the shock absorbers according to their driving habits and needs.

Tires

Tires are also very important, because powerful power or sensitive brakes, ultimately depends on the grip of the tires to achieve, and for a more professional race car, the field competition of dry road and rain are to use different tires, and off-road competition is more demanding on the tires.

ECU system

When the car is shipped from the factory, it is considered that the car has to be sold all over the world and adapt to different environments and oil quality, so the program inside the original ECU is an optimal compromise that meets many conditions, meaning that at least 30-40% of the energy is still sealed (especially for European cars, which are known for their safety). The ECU upgrade for turbo cars in particular can achieve unexpected power gains.
