Toyota has used this platform for their other vehicles like Fortuner, Toyota Hilux etc. Innova Crysta has a rear wheel drive setup, while the new Innova Hycross has a front-wheel drive setup.

The ladder on frame chassis is more tough and rugged than the monocoque chassis but the monocoque chassis will give Hycross more refinement and better driving dynamics and ride confort.

The rear end of the Hycross has a blacked-out taillight and a chrome strip running across the top of the tailgate. It also gets a roof spoiler which gives it a more sporty look.
