The START programme technician will go through an intense electric vehicle servicing training programme designed to prepare candidates for a successful career with Tesla. Students will gain technical skills and certificates through a combination of classroom theory, hands-on labs, and self-paced learning over the duration of the programme. Students can benefit from increased social skills and teamwork techniques. Veterans are urged to apply since relevant military service can be replaced by industry experience.
Working with Tesla necessitates the following responsibilities:
Understanding and learning about all Tesla vehicle items.
Participate in team activities in the laboratory as well as at the conference.
At all times, adhere to security protocols.
Organization has been improved by keeping tools orderly.
Complete the weekly program's objectives.
Maintain a professional and consistent relationship with the instructor.
Attend regular interviews and general skill training sessions.
Pass a general written automobile exam that is not related to Tesla vehicles.
A minimum of 40 hours per week must be spent on training and service centre assistance.
Maintain a perfect attendance record for the entire 12-week programme.
Show that you can handle numerous priorities, plan your task, and fulfil deadlines.
Requirements:
Tesla accepts a high school certificate or GED as well as post-secondary automotive education (or equivalent military service experience).
You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Attend and pass all 12 weeks of training with an 85 percent or higher GPA.
Valid driver's licence, a clean driving record, and at least two years of driving experience are required, as well as being insurable.
You must be willing to leave once the programme is completed successfully.
Capability to lift 50-60 pounds
As needed, you should be able to report to the training site or local service centre.
Accept a position in a Tesla Service Center for at least two years within 30 days of graduating from the programme.
You must pay close attention to both vocal and written directions.
Be able to operate in a team environment and meet predetermined targets.
Family understanding of the English language is required. Must have a "safety first" mindset.
Basic computer skills, such as utilising online browsers and common apps like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
