Kia's compact SUV, the Seltos, has been a top performer for the brand since its launch. Building on its success, the company is set to release a refreshed version of the Seltos in 2023. According to reports, the new model will feature a 1.5-liter engine, replacing the current 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine. The same engine will also be available in the 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift. Additionally, the 2023 Seltos will also include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The 2023 Seltos will be Kia's first vehicle in India to feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It is also worth mentioning that the 2023 Hyundai Creta is also expected to have ADAS. Internationally, Kia has already revealed the updated version of the Seltos, and from the teaser released in July, it is apparent that the upcoming Seltos will have significant changes to both the exterior and interior.

The exterior of the 2023 Seltos will feature some notable changes compared to the current model. Firstly, the front grille will be larger and more prominent, while still maintaining a sleek appearance. The full-LED headlamps will be updated, and the LED daytime running lights will extend from the bottom of the headlamps to the grille. The front bumper has been redesigned, and the bottom air dams have been updated as well. The lower half of the bumper will feature a silver skid plate, and the fog lamps will be LED units, maintaining the iconic "ice cube" design.

The side profile of the 2023 Seltos will remain similar to the current model, but it will feature new and redesigned alloy wheels. The rear of the SUV has undergone some changes as well, with the tail lamps being modified to resemble those on the Carens. Additionally, there will be a connecting LED bar that runs between the taillights. The rear bumper of the SUV has also been updated. The new design will give the 2023 Seltos a refreshed and more modern look while keeping the overall proportions and silhouette of the current model.

2023 Kia Seltos to Include Updated Interior with Fully Digital Instrument Cluster and Large Touchscreen Infotainment System

The 2023 Kia Seltos will feature a completely redesigned dashboard, equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system. According to reports, the new model will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an automated parking brake, and a panoramic sunroof. These features will be available in the 1.5L turbo-petrol variant of the 2023 Seltos.

The new Seltos will also be equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for added safety. These features include Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking. Additionally, it will also include the Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist. These advanced features will enhance the overall driving experience and make the 2023 Seltos one of the safest vehicles in its clas

As for the drivetrain side of things Kia will offer the 2023 Seltos with a tonne of options. The engine choices will include a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated engine that will be available with a manual, IMT, and IVT transmission, a 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine will be available with a manual, automatic, and iMT gearbox, and a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine will be available with a manual and a 7-speed DCT. Internationally Kia also offers the Seltos with a 4WD system as well.
