How do I write for Wander?
Simply create an account once at https://vocal.media. After creating and assembling your post, submit it to Wander. Write as often as you like!
How do I get paid?
Through Vocal, posts are rewarded based on performance metrics that correlate into financial compensation. With a digital dashboard, you can monitor your post’s (and your wallet’s) success. The more reads your content receives, the more money you make. All transactions are done through the ultra secure Stripe; we never have access to any of your financial information.

Can You Drive a Ford Fiesta Through a Desert?
I’m flying down the B1 highway from Windhoek to Keetmanshoop with a map and a boot full of camping gear. I’m excited for the first stop of my Namibian road trip: the Quiver Tree Forest. I spot the sign and turn onto the C17, off the tarmac and onto the gravel. I’ll be there soon; it’s only ten miles or so. I am unprepared for what comes next. The car slides and slips across the road. I am not fully in control anymore. I slow to a crawl. The car judders and shudders, the noise deafening, the vibrations rattling the teeth in my skull. It takes me around an hour to drive the ten miles. I arrive at the campsite relieved to be in one piece, even if it feels like all my bones have been shaken slightly out of place. I will later learn that this is what happens when the gravel road becomes “corrugated”, and that the roads authority goes round once a week to “grade” them. Seems I arrived about 6 days after the grader had last been round.

“We’re going to go up the back way,” my partner Eddie says. Fine by me. An always-energetic explorer of California, the route rarely matters to me. I'm like a happy dog with its head sticking out the window on road trips, wind buffeting my smiling face at 65 miles per hour, tongue hanging out.

The problem with being a nice person
Who would have thought that being a nice person could be problematic. The majority of people would tell you that’s what they want to be or at least want those around them to be, but as it turns out, what we want and what we say we want are worlds apart. I won't stress or ramble on about how I would like things to be, but I’ll just analyze why this is, I am not sure either if a solution is even possible.

Music Prompt? Music Thingy!
At work a few weeks ago, I was using that Spotify DJ thing, the AI tool that slightly bugs me on principle, but not enough for me to boycott it. (You know the one?) Anyway, I was jamming out to songs I was familiar with, a few new ones, and then all of a sudden, I was stopped in my tracks.
