Why?

A three-letter word with so much power behind it. You can use it to ask all kinds of questions. Why is the earth flat? why is the earth round? why is it that we see colors? why do colors exist? why did we come up with the word why? why did the number one come after the number zero? why are there letters? why are there numbers?

Why is very interesting word, not only does it make you ponder of what reality is, it also gives you insights to what we already know, adding to the want of knowing the end of what is and what was. Why is there history? why do you like him? why do you treat yourself badly? why is it that you did not exercise today? why did you have a baby?

But have you ever wondered why is why? what caused the notion or thought process of the word why, and what had caused it to be so powerful into our lives, not only in science but in math, English and social structures of our own being. The question is not the why, but the how, how it is so strong yet so little in letters. How was it established into our everyday lives of nonstop questions of what is, what was and what will be. There is no control over the why, yet the why has control over everything we do, I am not sure about you, but this is a maddening question in itself. So where do these questions come from and WHY is it so important.

Well, it's not. None of these questions are important, yeah it is nice to have these questions answered, but the need to have them answered does not come from the soul, it come from our minds, the ego of wanting and needing more answers, the gnawing need to feel safe after the question. To not let the unknown be the unknown, and trust that unknown. The why is just another word for control, to control the flow of answers to the never-ending questions of our egoic self. But what will happened if we all stop asking why? what will this life look like if we would have not questioned the life we live in and just lived into the life, just being into the moment? Well? we are human BEINGS after all, something must have started the why's.

Now that we know of the why's, would we be able to go back to the just knowing? Knowing that the why does not matter? knowing that the life of a being is just to be? knowing that all wisdom is within our sense of present moment of inner worlds? Why does it matter and does not matter? It was created to answer questions of the unknown, but the unknown will never be known within the mind of why. The Unknown will be known with the inner knowing of the soul, the understanding of being within the moment without the questions arising from the egoic part of our minds but from the logos of our souls.

Personally, I am figuring this out and knowing as I go, I am not sure the path that it will take any of us, but I am sure that it is the path of I am needing to take. So, I will leave this story to a ponder, is it really necessary to question the why's in our lives or is this all but a part of one reality that we all come to understand to well, and now it is not a matter of why to question everything but internally know that it was created and that is that?
