Atlanta ,

A small space compared to many spaces but in all can be considered a micro-trip paradise for upcoming travelers.

You can explore the sparkling peach state’s metro city in three days or less. Experiencing good food within Ponce City Market, and or natural wonders such as Stone mountain.

From walking along-the Beltline to climbing up the North Georgia mountains, and other rock formations made of stone.

There is so much to see. There is so much to do!

But, let’s first start with the food:

We can't explore on an empty stomach can we?

Ask around, people's first reaction when they hear Atlanta, Georgia and food translates to shrimp and grits, and Southern style biscuits.

However, there is literally so much more than Buttermilk biscuits and homemade jam!

Fun fact: Did you know Georgia’s third most common spoken language is Korean?

(This is a language most people overlook when placed against English and Spanish language)

In addition to American food, I’d like to note that Korean food can be found in abundance here in Atlanta, and is nothing short of amazingly good.

From the hidden Korean snack food places found within Doraville, to the huge Korea town found within Atlanta’s metro area of Duluth.

These little pockets should definitely be visited when traveling within Atlanta.

Favorite restaurant recommendations consist of Dish” and “678 Korean BBQ these places not only have traditional Korean dishes but also add a little Atlanta flair.

Fun Fact: The numbers “678” is an old area code used for Atlanta cellphone numbers.

Now that you have traveled outside the city, we can make our way back inside the perimeter for some mid day fun.

Driving along 400 highway from Doraville will lead you straight to Buckhead, where you can get bougie and or boozy to your delight with ritzy cocktail bars and upscale restaurants.

Next up on our drive down I’d recommend getting a little touristy.

Who wouldn’t want to see the best skyline view of the city?

You can do this day or night at the Westin, a central hotel located within the downtown area!

Many people may over look this gem, and head over to the Olympic park Ferris wheel in centennial park ,however we are wanting good views here that don’t necessarily follow the written path.

Getting tired yet? Maybe you’d like to stop for a coffee break.

If so I recommend making your way back to the central Atlanta and head over to Old Fourth Ward.

Here you will find tons of Atlanta’s staple coffee shops:

1. Revelator

2. Brother Moto

3. Dancing Goats

4.Condesa

5.Muchacho

whether it be Brother Moto (a motorcycle themed café and my personal favorite) or Revelator found within ponce city market (tourist central but worth the visit.)

You are bound to get the best coffee fix.

After strolling around Ponce city market and the Beltline, you can end the night down the street at the rooftop of the Clermont hotel.

for a good view and tunes, which is just how I’d like to end my night.

Check out this little local Itinerary:

  • 11-12:00 am Hit Duluth’s 678 Korean BBQ (explore the area of Duluth while you’re at it and visit any café nearby)
  • 1-2:00pm Ride on over to Doraville to visit the Sakura Japanese shop to get cute stationary and affordable souvenirs (Dish the Korean restaurant is nearby if you’re still hungry)
  • 2-3:00pm If it’s a weekday then you’ll be sitting in traffic
  • 2-3:00pm If it’s a weekend you’ll be smooth sailing and can make your way to Buckhead maybe sit and order a cocktail at Le Bilboquet (a quaint french bistro) and walk around the outdoor Shops of Buckhead to indulge in top fashion finds.
  • 3-5:00pm Visit downtown and stroll around Centennial Park until you make your way to the Westin Hotel. Go all the way to the 72nd floor to see the best skyline view the city has to offer

Hope to see you in Atlanta soon!
