Located on Karon Beach Tony Restaurant and Guest House is a hidden gem you really have to try. If you are looking for a place to grab a meal or even just a morning coffee and some fruit while you are at Karon Beach you will enjoy the quaint atmosphere and sounds of the ocean as you sit and enjoy your time here. It is my favorite place for breakfast in Phuket hands down. I really enjoy going for a morning swim, a quick run on the beach and then having a bowl of pork rice soup wit a couple cups of coffee. The animals in the area make things very interesting and the staff is great.

Tony Restaurant offers seating indoors and out, so no matter what the day is like you can sit and relax. Outside the tables have umbrellas so you are always shaded from the sun. They are also located under trees and the ocean provides a wonderful breeze. You should not find it too hot sitting outside even if you are consuming hot food and drinks. If you prefer you can always eat inside where you will still benefit from the breeze off the ocean and as an added bonus there are many fans.

The food at Tony Restaurant ranges from inexpensive to moderate depending on what it is you order. European and Western food is always more expensive no matter where you go to eat but the Thai food is pretty much on par with any Thai restaurant in the area except the portions are a lot larger. The flavor is amazing so you can enjoy some fantastic foods no matter what you fancy and the coffee is made fresh and well. They offer a variety of coffee styles like Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso and Latte both hot and cold. They also give fresh milk with the coffee if you require, which is a great switch from most places only offering powdered whitener.

The service at Tony Restaurant is fantastic. They have no problems communicating in English, they are very fast and if you are a repeat customer they won't forget you. I went back after being away for a year and they still remembered my breakfast order. Simply outstanding.

As seen in the video above, the animals around Tony restaurant are really interactive. Aside from birds like the ones shown there are very friendly dogs and cats around that are fun to watch as they frolic and play in the sand. At one point they had a kitten there and she was hilarious. She spent most her time sneaking up on trees and attacking the leaves that were blowing in the wind.

If you are looking for a great experience while visiting Karon Beach or while staying in Karon you should try Tony Restaurant. If you are travelling on a budget you can dine on the beach for a realistic price and sit and enjoy your time. If you are looking for European or Western food and can afford the cost, you will find the food to be well prepared and a very reasonable price. It is a suitable restaurant for groups and they close fairly early for Phuket so don't go too late in the day. If you are there for breakfast, try the Pork Rice Soup, it goes great with garlic bread or bacon and eggs.
