Hyde Park is a popular name among Sydneysiders as it is the oldest park in Australia. This heritage-listed urban park is located in the Central Business District in Sydney. This is the perfect place to just lay back and relax and breathe in some fresh air. This 16 hectare park includes a variety of lawns, fountains, picnic spots and several buildings along its boundaries including the Supreme Court of New South Wales and St.Mary’s Cathedral. It also contains interesting monuments that are reminders of the Aboriginal history of Australia. Apart from the lawns and flowers, it’s a public space where people working in the nearby offices come to relax, have lunch and escape from their busy lives. It is an ideal spot to have a small picnic with your friends or family, under the shades of the massive trees.
