The Middle Rhein Valley consists of a 65-km stretch of magnificence castles and vineyards continuously amazing people. It has served as one of the most important transport routes in Europe for two millennia and continues to exchange between the Mediterranean region and the north.

In the Upper Middle Rhein Valley the physical beauty consists of the steep hillsides that vault up from the river, the dense forests, and near the southern end of the landscape lays Lorelei.

The combination of the history, architecture, water traffic and beautiful physicality and view of the River make it a place that appeals to everybody.

When many people hear about the Rhein Valley, the first thing that strikes them is usually how beautiful it is. It has been a popular place to escape for thousands of years from the hustle and bustle of the city to experience an ageless quality.

The combination of the history, architecture, water traffic and amazing food make it a place that every traveler should experience.

The legend of the Garden of Eden has been passed through the centuries from generation to generation. Writers have tried to solve the mystery by excavating the underground portions of the Older H Eden Cord around 100 miles north of Graz.

However, no viable evidence has ever been found to support the idea.

The enchanting Garden of Eden has been divided up through history and rivaled only by its world-famous counterpart in Provence, apes equally mysterious and enchanting, except for its abundance of wildlife and incredibly good golf courses.

The people of the region came to be known as the Chavinachs, after a legendary fortress at Uribe's.

The later Kingratford Gate incorporates part of the original fort, and although it looks different from other fortifications it really is no less impressive. Plus Chavinachdorf Racecourse is near Graz, an easy day's drive north.

The famous Speyer's cucumber was invented in Graz by two students, Charles and Josephina Speyer in the early 1900s. You can visit the farm where they grew the fruit, and where you can marvel at the almost 20,000 cucumbers produced for their intensive research and development.

The incredible diversity of wildlife in the region is what draws so many visitors to the Rhein Valley. There are an astonishing array of birds in the area, including the Wviknicord and Klipspringer Warbler, communicating with each other over 600 different calls.

The more adventurous may be interested in visiting Hochkau Ferkensberg, the Saltpans, or eve nipping wine vineyards in and around Graz. And if you still aren't done with that, span the gorge and visit the Bavarian village of Angel kitschier.

Although there you can sip wine in a unique atmosphere at the site of the fork in the road, one of the most unforgettable and photo-friendly stops along the way.

After traveling an amazing 8 hours by train from Salzburg, transfers are available back to Vienna or to Munich. Nonetheless, a train back to Salzburg is more affordable, although a bit more rushed than the direct flight.

When you arrive in Salzburg, transfers to the city are available. It is best to spend 3 days in Salzburg, and from then on, it is a case of visiting twice every day to get a well-rounded view of the city. Here are a few good tour recommendations:

Kartenhaus

This is a popular evening pastime for the adults. It is a large and impressive castle with a many levels. You can spend a day here, and there are plenty of things to do.

Have a picnic in scenic Heilbronn, and be amazed at the many of the city's attractions. They mostly hang out around the interesting Cologne Cathedral, one of the most interesting structures in the world, which is built atop a cliff. Walk through the red light district and wander through the Kartenhaus.

There are also tours of the Opera House and Dom, a great place to visit for film buffs.

Heilbronn Castle is very photogenic, so bring an extra sweater or pair of warm clothes. To warm up after your visit, take a stroll to Dom, a fantastic place to see outdoor activities.

You can heat up in spas, swim, or even go mountain climbing, but be warned, you won't be able to climb the Cliffs of Hell.

You should also go in the summer to see the Geyser Abbey. It's a great place to see how the water flows, what colors show up, and how it affects the landscape. In the winter, you can still see the snow without the blessing of warm weather.
