Let’s admit it, Sydney’s got it all. Few cities in the world can rival what this spectacular harbour city offers its residents and out-of-towners–its natural wonders, iconic buildings, culture and heritage which dates back to thousands of years, and its creative and cultural offerings. There’s always something on in this capital city of New South Wales, so we have curated a list of adventures and activities to get you up and running for a fun time out.

Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour is one of the go-to destinations for tourists and locals alike and for good reasons. Being one of the major harbours in the world, there’s a wide range of top-class restaurants, national icons, and fleets that serve as a beacon for people from across the globe. The ideal way for you to spend time here is by gliding past the tranquil waterways on a lunch cruise, taking in the sweeping views of the city and its stunning skyline. You can locate many popular vessels including the multi-million dollar catamaran, the popular paddlewheeler and a premium glass boat, all offering exceptional cruise and dine experiences. And if you're a fan of dining out at night, go for the dinner cruise in Sydney Harbour, offering remarkable night views, excellent food and a fully licensed bar to purchase drinks and other beverages! Oh and don’t forget to capture those awesome photos of you and your loved ones in the backdrop of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge!

North Sydney

When we talk about epic locations in Sydney, there’s only a few spots that come close to the iconic harbour, one such destination is North Sydney. Housing two of the biggest tourist attractions, the Taronga Zoo and Luna Park, this locality is one of the busiest places in the city. If you're up for a mindful altercation with nature, then head to Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden, an underrated nook with Bangalow Palms, lilies, figs, berries and birds along with stunning views of the harbour between ferns. For a more thrilling escape from the bustling city life, head of the historic Luna Park, one of the nly heritage-listed amusement parks in the world. If you're after a fun place to spend time without having to book prior, this is your spot.

Inner West

Inner West of Sydney is a lively-hub of heritage architectures, art galleries and village-like neighbourhoods, brimming with character. Kings Street is a prominent street in Sydney where you can come across cinemas, laneway burger spots, fashion stores, dog-friendly pubs, live music and much more! Who doesn't love shopping? Rise early and head to the many morning markets and get your hands on the finest local, handmade or seasonal products including organic and bio-dynamic foods! Art lovers can head to White Rabbit Gallery, housing one of the most prominent collections of contemporary Chinese art. And after scouring through the gallery, you can stop for refreshments at their Tea House Cafe with aromatic teas, dumplings, wine and fresh juices.

South Sydney

Although this is dubbed as more of a relaxing part of Sydney with a perfect blend of heritage and nature, this is also the destination in the city where most of the adventures start or happen. Adrenaline junkies can hop on the overnight hike through the Royal National Park, which will see you attempt a multi-day walk between Bundeena through Otford, and while you're at it stop for a dip in the many swimming spots. For anyone looking for a fun time, a mini golf course is a no brainer. Head to Putt Planet, an 18-hole golf course with themes ranging from markets, homes and even sewers!
