One of Africa's Best Resorts - The Royal Senchi Hotel, Ghana

When I look at the architectural design of the Royal Senchi Resort, I fully grasped why Ghana was declared one of the hottest new tourist destinations in the world in 2019. The resort is charming and offers beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment. From the entrance, customer service has always been very good from the first moment.

Royal Senchi Resort is situated in Akosombo, just a kilometer from the famous Adome Bridge. This hotel is located on Tema - Akosombo road towards Asutsuare (Senchi Ferry, Akosombo) in the eastern part of Ghana.

Built in 2012, Royal Senchi Resort is the first luxury four star hotel in Ghana, filled with the tranquility of Lake Volta and equipped with the highest standards of hospitality. The resort hotel has been designed with a combination of magnetic and pleasant environment along the Senchi River, and surrounding forests. You will fall in love with this beautiful building because it is really far from the swamps and noisy city life. But of course there is enough for a simple trip. The view from the nature of Royal Senchi is the feel of the whole building.

As a writer, I was permitted to enter almost all of the Royal Senchi rooms. And to be honest, I was very happy and surprised by the facilities available. The rooms offer plenty of space with fantastic and colorful wall colors to create a comfortable atmosphere for guests. There is never a power cut because you have a 24 hour power and water warranty. The rooms here are very nice. With nearly 100 beautifully designed rooms and suites, this hotel is charming with striking and influential decorations that will make you return.

There are also special rooms for children. The rooms are elegant and tastefully decorated. All are fully air-conditioned and equipped with a private bathroom, decorative lighting, flat-screen satellite TV, fridge, cupboard, tea / coffee making facilities, hairdryer and desk, historical paintings and sofas. Free toiletries and barrier free WiFi are available in every Senchi room. One thing that makes Royal Senchi's professional staff stand tall is cleanliness. All rooms are cleaned at least three times a day. How do you Get Here?

Hotel Royal Senchi is located 1 km from the Adome Bridge, a three minute walk from Akosombo Road, a one hour and a 30 minute drive from Ghana's International Airport, and near Akosombo to Accra. All you have to do is to hop in any of the minibuses, uber, taxis, or passenger planes to the helipad offered to Royal Senchi. On time at the main airport in Accra, foreign visitors can take advantage of the latest vehicle services.

The Food And Drinks

The Royal Senchi Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast every day and a variety of local and continental dishes, prepared by a well-groomed presiding cook. Restaurants near the resort’s beautiful swimming pool offer barbecues at an additional cost. The on-site bar offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wine, champagne and the best fruit juices. Relax and enjoy a variety of drinks right next to the crystal clear pool. However, children are also allowed to enjoy themselves as they have a share of the fun by jumping around in the shallow pools at Royal Senchi. After swimnastics, swimmers can enjoy a massage at the spa complex and health center for an additional fee.

Remarkable Facilities

In addition, the resort offers a variety of sports facilities, including tennis courts, fitness centers and river boats for any boat races. Apart from the above, there is also one of the best live bands that you can find anywhere. From a distance you can hear the sound quality of this professional music band with great players as singers.

With what I saw, I realized that this resort was an ideal place for business meetings, conferences and other special events. Strangely, after intense interaction with one of the authorities of Royal Senchi, I received information that important official events in the country had occurred here before, including governmental meeting. Well, I was not moved because the facilities here speak for themselves.

Overlooking Akosombo beach, Royal Senchi Resort is truly made for Kings and Queens! And if I should rate it, I can say with certainty that all visitors, including foreign guests, will have their VFM (value for money), especially when cleanliness, comfort and professionalism from the staff are bang on.
