Life is much easier as a 'resident' of Costa Rica!

You've visited this wonderful country many times! You're excited about moving here. You're looking to spend some quality time laying on a hammock reading a book or two every week. . You've worked hard all of your life and you're now in the 'restart and 'reset' your life' mode. And, you're excited about all of it. . all of the many new changes that are presenting themselves for you and your family here in paradise. .

This year has been a pivotal moment in time. Things are happening in the USA that have not happened for a long time. There seems to be a feeling of hatred and unrest for one another throughout the 50 states. I'm not taking sides or getting in a sparring match with anybody. . not laying blame on any one political party. It is what it is. The ugliness has shown its claws and many peace-loving, not-putting-up-with-the-nonsense people are finding another way and another country in which to spend the rest of their lives. They never thought a "Plan B" would be necessary. Now they all know that "GO TIME" is here!

Our phones are ringing off the wall. Our email box has lit up like no other time in history. So many questions are being asked about how to relocate to Costa Rica. It IS a big deal. Moving one's entire life to another country is, of course, a life-changing experience. You have to be certain that this is what you want to do. If you are sure, then you have to plan your escape. So many questions to ask, to get answered. . and then one needs to push the button and put the gears in motion.

Would you like to have more initial information about moving to Costa Rica? Do you want to have legal residency in Costa Rica? How does one legally work in Costa Rica? There are a number of residency statuses available for which you can apply.

We first direct you to our website at www.costaricaimmigrationandmovingexperts.com

You'll see our introduction and then to the left you will find our navigational bar. This directs you to all of our different sections of information. You may want to start at our "Frequently Asked Questions" page. This hopefully will answer some of the initial questions you may have about moving to Costa Rica.

There are a few ways for you to go. . Pensionado Status. . Rentista Status. . Resident Investor Status. You can also find a loving, compatible partner here in Costa Rica and marry into becoming a resident! As each of these 3 statuses are considered temporary, the applicant and dependents are required to physically be in Costa Rica for a minimum of 1 day every two years. Take some time and read our information. It will indeed fill in the gaps for you!

Many individuals and families move here and they spend many years as a "Perpetual Tourist". The label of "perpetual tourist" is not a status, but rather is similar to a condition. Unlike the 3 statuses previously discussed, a perpetual tourist does not have any legal rights here in Costa Rica that are afforded to a "cedula" holder. The perpetual tourist is not guaranteed an automatic 90-day renewal of his tourist status and as a perpetual tourist, they can be asked to leave at anytime. They have a great deal of difficulty opening up a bank account, telephone service, cable TV service, etc., and must leave the country every 90 days to keep their home country driver's license valid. The perpetual tourist can purchase a home, cars, boats, etc. here if they wish. But life is not as easy as it could be.

There are lots of things to discuss. . . and we're here to help. Kevin McNamee and his team have been assisting individuals and families in obtaining their legal status here in Costa Rica for well over 20 years. They are here to make your move as seamless as possible. There is so much to consider and because of their knowledge and true love for helping people get a new start on their lives, they have become VERY GOOD AT IT. They also can arrange for all of your household goods, your vehicle and even your pet(s) to be shipped to your new home here in paradise! They can help open bank accounts, answer specific questions about health care, medicine availability and much more!

Kevin can be reached at [email protected]. Drop him an email today. He is available for a free consultation by phone or in person. You can discuss your concerns and explain your individual situation. He can answer all of you initial questions and will advise you on exactly what you need to get the process started.

It is scary for some. . exciting for others. The bottom line is that there is a wonderful life waiting here for those who want to make a change!
