My Ultimate Caribbean Adventure!

The Caribbean really is a tropical paradise. Taking it easy and relaxing on the beach is a great way to leave all your troubles behind. This is the life! But, there is also a lot a fun activities you can do on these islands—especially if you're an adrenaline junkie!

Swimming With Dolphins!

For me personally, swimming with dolphins is right at the top of my must-do list when visiting the Caribbean! Being able to see and interact with these beautiful creatures up-close in person is such a unique experience.

The dolphin encounter is done in a controlled environment, and the trainers are in charge. The trainers teach you how to engage with the dolphins by teaching you specific hand signals, and instructing us where we could touch them. We also had the chance to swim with them. The dolphins would swim up behind us and they pushed against our feet, making us sore through the water! The trainers also taught us a great deal about the breed.

Climbing Waterfalls!

Climbing Dunn's River Falls is such a fun day out, especially if you are in a big group! It is a very popular Caribbean tourist attraction.

The falls are a completely natural area, that is stunningly beautiful, and stretches out for miles. The water is very refreshing to climb through, especially in the Caribbean weather.

Whilst working your way to the top of the falls—you get to encounter incredible views, swim through mini waterfalls, and slide down rocks.

Team work is key to completing the climb!

Quad-Biking!

Riding ATVs really does make you feel like a boss!

Quad-biking through the island of St. Kitts was so much fun. We got to drive up so many hills, it was actually quite hard work. But there is a huge sense of satisfaction when you reach the top, and you can see a view of the entire island surround you. The landscape is beautiful.

Quad-biking really is a great way to explore the island. Although by the end of the ride, I was covered in dirt!

Swimming With Stingrays!

Stingray City in Grand Cayman is such a unique experience! It is the opportunity to actually sail out into the middle of the ocean, and interact with stingrays.

Once the sailboat reaches its destination, which was about a 10-15 minute ride from shore, everyone on the boat is free to jump into the waters. We were even given snorkels so we could see the coral reefs. All of the stingrays that have been gathered in this area have been altered, so they were completely safe to touch. Apparently, kissing a stingray gives you seven years good luck!

Jet Skiing!

Jet skiing is a great way to own the waves, and race against your friends! These wave runners are just as fast as a car. Having the wind blow through your hair, whilst soaring through the waves is so much fun.

Being able to explore the island and ride right along side of the beach is also part of the fun. Seeing your friends and family on shore as you ride past them is awesome.

I did try to show-off at one point by attempting to ride whilst standing up, which resulted in nearly falling off the jet ski......not advised!

Zip-Lining!

My most absolute favourite activity to do in the Caribbean, however, is flying on the tallest zip-line over water in the world!

Welcome to Labadee, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Caribbean, and welcome to Dragon's Breath Flight Line! This is by far the biggest adrenaline rush I felt during my time in the Caribbean. The feeling of soaring through the sky, whilst having a view of the lush tropical island surround you is completely exhilarating. Everything looks so small 500 feet in the air.

There's so much to take in, you're not quite sure where to look. And, although it's not really in your control, trying to race your friend to the end of the line is always fun.

The island offers a variety of excursions to choose from, but I highly recommend zip-lining!
