The explosion of CBD openings has turned the Sydney Restaurants into boardrooms and made people look out for extraordinary ideas to dine out with colleagues on a weekday. As a food-blogger, it has been my passion to help people find the best eateries in Sydney. If you are looking for some world-class dining spaces in Sydney to power your weekday lunches, here are some of the top picks from my lunchtime adventure.

1. Lunchtime cruises on the Sydney Harbour

As a food enthusiast, I was always known among my friends and relatives for discovering restaurants that offer fine-dining experiences with freshly-prepared meals, beverages, and breathtaking views. And one of the best I came across in Sydney while browsing the internet were the harbour cruises. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience where I could savour the flavours of great food in the company of my colleagues while basking in the crystal clear view of the surroundings to capture some mind-blowing photos. Some of the dishes I cherish to date include the fruit of forest pavlova, casarecce pasta, and the herb crusted salmon fillet.

2. Otto Ristorante

The next restaurant in Sydney I felt is worth mentioning is the Otto Ristorante, where I enjoyed a filling lunch with some of my colleagues. As a culinary gem tickling taste buds with its delicious yet simple Italian food prepared with fresh ingredients, the meals served in this restaurant won my heart. Their professional and welcoming attitude is praiseworthy. What I liked most on their menu were their goat's curd truffle honey and the bluefin tuna pasta. If you are looking for a fabulous waterfront location with a fantastic vibe, make your way to this restaurant.

3. Cirrus

This award-winning restaurant has my heart for serving great food with unmatched service. The hospitality of their well-trained staff was obvious from how they made us feel like royalty. Their sustainably sourced seafood is a major highlight here, although you might find many other dishes you want to try. What I liked most in their preparations were their wines and seafood. Some of the items I would recommend personally were their Sydney Rock Oysters, Kingfish Sashimi, and King prawns. And the best part? They have both indoor and outdoor dining facilities!

4. Iceberg's Dining Room and Bar

This restaurant is a must-try for an unforgettable beachside dining experience to shake hands with your colleagues. You can savour the lunch flavours in an aqua-hued dining room perched on a cliff overlooking the iconic coastline. The expert services of their attentive staff serving the freshly-prepared dishes from the kitchen allowed me to indulge in their signature dishes like bruschetta made with sea urchin and foie gras. In my opinion, other must-try dishes are black ink spaghetti with Western Australian blue swimmer crab or the steak of the day served with seasonal greens.

5. Restaurant Pendolino

If you are fond of trying an enchanting restaurant tucked inside the historic Strand Arcade, this Italian restaurant owned by chef Nino Zoccali would surely be a pleasant surprise. The mysterious ambience of this restaurant, the shuttered windows, and the tables elegantly dressed in white clothes were perfect for making one of my official lunches remarkable. The services of the staff, led by Zocali, are one of the best in Sydney for experiencing traditional hospitality. The menu has multiple choices to allow you to choose mouthwatering dishes such as spinach and cheese dumplings in a hearty beef broth. If you are a wine-lover, you won't regret trying their wines too.

As seen above, Sydney has ample options to satisfy your cravings and keep you invigorated even on a working day. Whether you prefer to go aboard any of the Sydney Harbour lunch cruises or explore other options enticing for your next lunch, you are in for a culinary adventure like no other. So, pack your appetite and get ready to indulge in Sydney's finest lunchtime delights!
